Punters are warming to a late entrant in the 2020 Golden Slipper with heavy support continuing to come for one of the emergencies who has gotten a spot in the race.
The Lindsay Park trained Minhaaj has been ultra impressive in her two career starts winning both of them by big margins including a 4.5L romp at Flemington last start.
Minhaaj was not guaranteed a start in the race being the second emergency although with the scratchings of Global Quest and Cellsabeel she has received a spot in the $3.5m feature for 2YO’s.
Minhaaj opened at $15 on Tuesday when the Golden Slipper final field was released but she has been crunched by punters into her current price of $9.00 after touching $8.50 on Friday.
Farnan remains the heavily backed favourite for the race at $4.40 with second favourite Tagaloa easing slightly out from $5.00 to $5.50.
