Godolphin galloper heads odds in The Buffering

Quality Godolphin four year old Brigantine is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for The Buffering (1350m) this Saturday at Doomben.

The James Cummings trained gelding ran in the Razor Sharp at Randwick last time and seemingly had his chance behind Sky Command but wasn’t entirely suited by the race shape. More genuine tempo this time around and up in trip, he looks hard to beat and the market agrees, having him at $3.30.

The second line of betting is held down by Ucalledit at $5, out from $3.90 and has been quite soft. The early firmer at a price has clearly been Taksu, who opened $19 and is into $8.50.
