A Group l winner has been well tried in early betting with Ladbrokes.com.au for The Gold Rush (1400m) this Saturday at Ascot.
Elite Street was brave in defeat last time out in the Winterbottom and is primed for the 1400m assignment. Market wants him early, backing him into $9.50 from $12.
Favourite for the race is last start Hunter winner Vilana at $4.40, out from $3.80, but holds the call, just, over Winterbottom runner up Kissonallforcheeks at $4.60.
