First race is full of first starters, but off what I’ve seen at the trials, Lake’s Folly looks pretty good. Her most recent jumpout at Flemington saw her position just off the speed before peeling wider and when clicked up, the response was instant and she looked to move very well. $4/thereabouts looks more than acceptable for a stable who have had an unbelievable season with their juveniles. I think Macstryker is definitely worth another throw at the stumps. Was keen on him running well first up at Wagga but just got too far back and was never a factor, though did make ground late and his closing splits were solid. Tongue Tie and Winkers go on. Made Pintang Prince the best of the day and for mine he’s silly odds. Gave them a caning here two back before going to Corowa where quite frankly, he was slaughtered by Jake Duffy, but trainer Adrian Corboy said post race in the Stewards Report that he was riding to instructions. Gate one again, I think Luke Nolen will take full advantage of that and I think he’s a really good gamble at the odds.
