A first starter with no public appearances has been clearly the best backed runner with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the two year old race at Eagle Farm this Saturday, the Ann Nugent @ R&W Wilston/Windsor Handicap (1000m).
Cabeirian, trained at the Gold Coast by the astute Kelly Doughty yard, hasn’t been seen in public but is well related with his dam producing the well performed Flamboyer. That, and the family did come to hand early as well as having good early toe, so the $13 opening price did seem overs and the punters agreed, backing him into $7.00.
In a real tricky juvenile race, impressive debut Toowoomba winner Crusher is the $2.80 after originally opening $2.70 and firming to $2.60. She holds sway ahead of unbeaten North Queenslander Paradis Imperial ($4.20-$4.60) and South Of France ($4.20-$4.80), who debuts for the David Vandyke yard.
The one that is rock solid early is Zukaz, who is at $6.50 and hasn’t budged.
