The eighth slot for the TAB Everest at Royal Randwick on October 19 has been confirmed with Enticing Star now regarded a $15 chance with TAB.
The Chris Waller-trained Enticing Star has tightened from $26 to $15 and will be the thoroughbred for Chris Waller Racing in the third edition of The Everest.
Five-year-old mare Enticing Star has eight wins and one second from her 10 career starts – all in Western Australia – including a runner-up finish to Voodoo Lad in the Winterbottom Stakes at Ascot last December.
Enticing Star will be joined in the $14m Everest by stablemate Arcadia Queen, both owned by Bob Peters.
Along with Arcadia Queen, Enticing Star joins Pierata, Classique Legend, Sunlight, In Her Time and two-time winner Redzel in the TAB Everest.
TAB’s representative for the world’s richest race on turf, five-time Group 1 winner Santa Ana Lane, is currently the $5 favourite with TAB.
