Despite being first emergency and not assured a start, Marabi has been smashed in early betting with Sportsbet.com.au for the Christmas Stakes (1100m) this Sunday at Caulfield.
The Maher/Eustace trained mare is unbeaten in her four start career. This is clearly a tougher assignment for her but there is no ceiling as to how good she could be. Opened $1.85 and is now into $1.65.
Outlaws Revenge, off the back of two straight Stakes wins at Morphettville, is on the second line of betting at $8 and they are the lone pair at single figures, with next best being Away Game at $10.
