Egg Tart is the short priced PJ O'Shea Stakes favourite
Bookies are taking no chances when it comes to Egg Tart in the feature at the Sunshine Coast this Saturday, the PJ O’Shea Stakes (2200m).
The mare had her first run at 2000m since her three year old season last time out in the Doomben Cup and was only beaten a lip by Comin’ Through. 2200m, wet track…it points to her winning and punters aren’t getting overs about her. She’s at $1.65 and solid.
She holds the call over Tradesman, who was a flop in the Doomben Cup. He opened $4, which was poison odds. Got to $6.50 before firming back to $6.
The early move at odds has been for Gallic Chieftain, who is at $9.50 now after opening $16.
