King's Gambit has opened favourite for the Poseidon Stakes
King’s Gambit is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Poseidon Stakes (1100m) this Saturday at Flemington in what is an intriguing race.
Several runners have eyes towards the Coolmore, including King’s Gambit, but there is talk of him potentially being an Everest horse. If that is the case, he should be winning this. Market says he is the one to beat, sitting at $3.40.
I Am Unstoppable is the firmer, into $4.80 from $6.50. The only other runner at single figures is Kandinsky Abstract, sitting at $8.
