Even though he will start from one of the outside barriers, Finche remains the $6 favourite at TAB to win Saturday’s Caulfield Cup.
Finche was $5 before last night’s barrier draw and eased to $6 after barrier 19, which includes emergencies, was drawn by connections.
Japan’s Mer De Glace has won his last five races but the five-year-old horse drifted from $7 to $8 after barrier 21 of 22 (including emergencies) was selected.
Mr Quickie has tightened marginally from $9 to $8.50 since the barrier draw took place while Vow And Declare has shortened from $11 to $9 as well.
Mustajeer has drifted from $9 to $12 since the barriers were determined last night while The Chosen One – last Saturday’s Herbert Power Stakes winner – has eased from $11 before the draw to $16 and will start from the outside barrier.
