Gold Trip holds favouritism in the Caulfield Cup but he has been easy in the market
Gold Trip is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for what looks a wide open edition of the Caulfield Cup (2400m).
The Maher/Eustace trained galloper was an outstanding winner of the Turnbull and despite reservations about him running, he’s here and favourite at $6 although he has been easy in the market after opening at $4.80 on Wednesday so punters aren’t too keen on him at the moment.
West Wind Blows is on the second line of betting with bookies, a point further back. They are the only runners at single figures, with Japanese Raider Breakup next best at $10.
