One TAB punter this afternoon has plonked $106,000 at $1.10 on Winx to win Saturday’s TAB Chipping Norton Stakes at Royal Randwick.
Winx was heavily backed in her return run in the Apollo Stakes with the TAB reporting they took more bets on her in the race than any of her previous starts and they are tipping the record to drop this weekend.
Bookmakers are anticipating a massive a mount of money for Winx this weekend in the Group One Chipping Norton Stakes with some expecting the Champion mare to start at the shortest odds she has been which was $1.08.
The biggest bet ever taken on Winx was $250,000 which was placed ahead of her Apollo Stakes win.
