Ballarat Overview:
I think the Symon Wilde stable has the SA Oaks in mind with Skyway Star and if that’s the case, she would want to be putting this maiden field away and I think she will. Slightly held up last time at Bendigo, but overall, I thought she had her chance when a narrow second. Third up at the mile looks ideal, soft inside gate to use and she is the main reason why Willow is making the trip to Ballarat. Thought she’d be odds on, so $2.90, IMO, is more than acceptable.
Townsville

Townsville Overview:
Note that 365 was the only bookie with odds up at the time of writing. I think $2.80 is fair enough for Buster Block, who I’ve made the best of the day. Lightly raced five year old son of Reset who has clearly had his issues but no denying he has a decent engine under the hood. Resumed in what looked a strong Class 2 at Bowen and he looked very dumb, as usual. Waited for them to get near him but on the line he was holding and edging away. Big hulk of a horse so the weight is no issue and he should get a sweet trip from the gate.
