Overall Results (Since June 7): $4624 Profit
Bet One- Each Way- Dubbo Race Four Number 2 The Frick:
Was hoping the bookies had missed him and I think they have. Didn’t handle the wet track first up, then second up the track at Coonabrabran was a joke. Last start was over 1400m here where he was last in the run and never really looked likely but made up a stack of ground. Drops back to 58 grade, gets gate one so can sit closer and the blinkers go on again, which saw the horse turn his form around when they last went on.
Suggested Bet: $50 E/W at $6.5/$2.3 (TAB)
Bet Two- Win- Rockhampton Race Two Number 1 Adsum:
Think he’s the good thing of the day up north. Lindsay Hatch trains. He resumed over 950m at Moree where he just got run off his legs but was sound late in defeat and that form was franked at Scone on Monday via Anaita. 1300m, bigger track, run under the belt and the depth here isn’t strong. Keen on him.
Suggested Bet: $50 Win at $2.4 (Bet365)
Bet Three- Each Way – Rockhampton Race Four Number 1 Clappers:
I think he’s worth a throw at the stumps each way. Glenda Bell trains this gelding, who hasn’t raced since October 25 over the 1050m here where he got too far back but did make up ground very late behind the in form Lucky Clover. Like him up in trip and hopefully can sit a touch closer in the run from the draw.
Suggested Bet: $10 Win/$20 Place @ $20/$5 (Sportsbet)
Bet Four- Win- Tatura Race Two Number 3 Brother Paul:
Tricky meeting at Tatura but I think he’s one of the better bets. Shaun Dwyer trains this gelding, who debuted at Werribee back in May and was solid enough in defeat behind Fight For Victory in a maiden which has produced four winners. Recent Benalla trial was quite encouraging and good to see early market support with this stable.
Suggested Bet: $40 Win at $3.1 (Neds)
Bet Five- Win- Tatura Race Six Number 1 Mia Georgia:
Gee I think she’s well placed here by Archie Alexander. Last couple of runs have been strong enough in a couple of handy 64 races against the mares, the latest at Geelong behind a handy mare in Shrouded In Mist. Back to 58 grade, back to this level of a meeting, and with the claim for a ripping rider in Alana Kelly, I think the $3.50 thereabouts is more than acceptable.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $3.3 (Sportsbet)
Total Spend: $250
