Overall Results (Since June 7): $2622 Profit
Bet One- Win- Kembla Race Two Number 4 Fast Stepping:
Doesn’t look to be the strongest two year old race going around and this WaterBott youngster, on debut, looks well placed. Didn’t do much in his first trial back in February, so was tipped out and he trialled very nicely I thought a couple of weeks back at Randwick when bolting up under Clark, who remains on. $1.95 is okay for a race with little depth.
Suggested Bet: $60 Win at $1.95 (Neds)
Bet Two- Win- Kembla Race Four Number 1 Fleeting Stryke:
An ounce of natural improvement from the resumption and she should be too good. Was nominated for Grafton, accepted/scratched at Warwick Farm and runs here, and gee she finds a winnable race. Resumed at Randwick and didn’t have the best of luck in the straight behind High Mist on the bog. Great record at the track/distance and likely holds the box seat behind Spencer.
Suggested Bet: $100 Win at $2.9 (Sportsbet)
Bet Three- Each Way- Sale Race Two Number 1 Americaneer:
$3.70 is very short and too thin for my liking. Was hoping for $6+, so I’d take the tote and hopefully he drifts. Comes through a 2400m maiden at Bendigo where he got the suck run nearer the inside and though he didn’t quicken, he battled away well enough behind Set With Jewels. Hopefully gets clear running outside horses and can finish off.
Suggested Bet: $15 E/W (Tote)
Bet Four- Win- Sale Race Three Number 1 Cochaca:
Looks a great bet. Trialled well in May prior to resuming at this track/distance where he sat wide no cover yet kept finding under Willow and surged hard to just miss out on picking up Magnus Rufus. Horror draw, but hoping he can get three wide cover and have last say, because he does look the best horse in the race.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $2.45 (Neds)
Bet Five- Win- Sale Race Four Number 7 Miss Pandamus:
I think you have to trust your eye with Miss Pandamus. Started $61 when debuting at Geelong but the way in which she won, gee it was impressive and it screamed out of a horse who will be a city performer. Was nominated for Caulfield, but they instead tackle the softer option and I’m keen on her to make it 2/2. Naantali the clear threat but $1.65 is short enough.
Suggested Bet: $20 Win (Tote)
Total Spend: $240
