Bet One- Each Way- Orange Race Two Number 6 Arithmetic:
I think he’s worth a small gamble each way. This girl was formerly with Mick Price where she had two runs in Victoria and did bugger all. Now with Tash Burleigh, and her record at improving these tried horses is very good. I think she won’t need to improve much to figure in the finish and double figures seems very silly overs.

Bet Two- Each Way – Orange Race Four Number 4 Sea Lady:
Steps up a fair bit in grade/depth, but I’m having something on her each way at the odds on offer. Was an alarming drifter in betting last start on Mudgee Cup Day but despite having no friends in the market, she finished off with real purpose late to run second to Prima Stella. There’s already been market support for her and I think she can blouse these with conditions to suit.

Bet Three- Win – Corowa Race Six Number 3 Nicconi Poni:
Is an acceptor elsewhere, but if he runs here, he should be winning. After the nightmare that was Caulfield last start, he’s certainly in minor discussions for good thing beat of 2018. Should have won but just had no luck in the straight when seeming to be full of running. Significant drop in depth for this Mitch Beer runner and I think he’ll be getting the job done.

Bet Four- Win – Seymour Race Eight Number 9 Weapon:
Huge watch on Weapon, a more than capable four year old for the Busuttin/Young team that resumes. Kicked off last prep with a couple of slashing wins before being tested in harder company and running okay but not quite measuring up. Loved his recent jump out and he does seem to be a horse that races best on the fresh side. Keen on his chances.

Bet Five- Win – Sunshine Coast Race Five Number 2 Kiriana:
Made her the best of the day. Looks a really progressive mare for the Symons/Laxon stable who has had two career outings, both coming here at the Sunny Coast. Eye catching debut behind Play Now before racing at this track/distance and she was dominant, running the fastest mile across three races that meeting. Gets back anyway so the gate is no issue and this isn’t a strong Class One. Really keen.
