Overall Results (Since June 7): $1106 Profit
Bet One- Win- Dubbo Race One Number 1 All Accomplished:
Interesting runner. Was with Bjorn Baker but is now with Cameron Crockett. Showed a bit of promise in three runs for Baker before being transferred. Two trials to prepare for the resumption have looked pretty good. Beaten convincingly each trial but wasn’t extended at all and I think he starts shorter, especially from the good draw.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $3.8 (BetEasy)
Bet Two- Win- Dubbo Race Two Number 10 In Good Health:
$1.90 is more than acceptable IMO for a filly who should be closer to around the $1.4-$1.5 mark. Only bad luck will see her get beat here. Comes through much stronger maiden races, the latest at Scone where she hit the front and looked home but was nabbed late. Run of the race from the inside gate, should be winning.
Suggested Bet: $60 Win at $1.9 (BetEasy)
Bet Three- Win- Dubbo Race Seven Number 7 Hoges:
Not surprising that G Ryan has been hooked given the butchering he gave it last time. Could have led or been near the speed but instead he restrained and the horse just spent far too much energy doing that and didn’t finish off. Winkers on FT and he trialled well enough at Scone in them behind Tim’s Principal, who ran well on Saturday at Rosehill. If he produces his best, I think he wins.
Suggested Bet: $30 Win at $4 (BetEasy)
Bet Four- Win- Echuca Race One Number 9 Shamwow:
There are some pretty decent wraps on this girl and considering she’s nominated for a stack of feature races, including being the only unraced nom for the Cox Plate, she must be showing the stable plenty and it was there to see recently at Cranbourne with a sharp trial win. Stable have said they use Regan for their good horses…I reckon this girl is pretty good.
Suggested Bet: $100 Win at $2.25 (Sportsbet)
Bet Five- Each Way- Echuca Race Eight Number 11 Imperial Edition:
I think each way you can’t go wrong with this Darren Weir mare. Thought she did a huge job last time at Tatura over the 1980m considering she was pretty much three wide throughout yet kept coming and probably would have won in another couple of strides. Yendall on, bigger track, 2100m…ticks plenty of boxes.
Suggested Bet: $25 E/W (Tote)
Total Spend: $270
