Bet One- Win Parlay 3,4- Wagga Race One No 4/Race Three No 13/Race Six No 4/Race Eight No 5:
Here’s hoping for a result. Bravado Lass is so consistent and back to the mile after not quite running 1800m out last time, she’ll take beating in the first. Starskin took a while to get going last time at Albury but closed off and at start three, she should know what the caper is about. Noble Descent is the best of the day and should win the sixth. Bennelong Dancer had no luck in a Highway last time and back here, she looks the one to beat.
Suggested Bet: $20 = $100 Cost
Bet Two- Each Way – Wagga Race Two Number 5 Supalux:
I’ll take a chance on this first starter. Delago Deluxe gelding on debut for Gary Colvin. First trial he was out the back and coasted before the blinkers went on in the second trial and he showed more intent, sitting on speed and proving too good under riding. Always have to respect the stable when they produce a first starter and I could have something on him each way.
Suggested Bet: $10 Win/$30 Place at $13/$3.8 (TAB)
Bet Three- Win Multi – Werribee Race One No 1/Race Six No 3:
Couple of safe runners I think. Celeritate Regem is bursting to win a race and he gets his chance. Last two runs have come on his home track at Kyneton where he has bumped into Gina’s Hope and then the above average Kaipaki. The Bandages are off, so perhaps his legs are getting more sound. Should lead and win for mine. Silverhawk was an impressive first up winner here over 1400m and the form out looks as if it’ll be okay. Provided there’s no second up syndrome, I think he’ll be winning again.
Suggested Bet: $80 at $4.68 (Sportsbet)
Bet Four- Each Way – Ballarat Race Two Number 5 Monarch Court:
I’ll have something on this first starter for Darren Weir. Son of Redoute’s Choice having his first start with John Allen to steer. He trialled on November 27 at Avoca and looked to trial quite well to my eye, certainly well enough to figure in the finish here from an ideal draw. I think he might be better with time/experience, but in a thin race, I’ll side his way.
Suggested Bet: $10 Win/$30 Place at $14/$4.2 (Sportsbet)
Bet Five- Each Way – Beaudesert Race Three Number 7 Omission:
Bludger of a meeting at Beaudesert so a throw at the stumps each way with this veteran. His recent TAB form has been scratchy, but has found positive form at the Non-TAB meetings, the latest at Esk. These days he does tend to save his best for Beaudesert and I’m hoping he can settle in the box seat or just off the speed. Nothing race, so you could do worse than having something small each way.
Suggested Bet: $20 E/W (Tote)
Total Spend: $300
