The battle for favouritism in Saturday’s TAB Everest at Royal Randwick is hotly contested with Santa Ana Lane currently the $4.40 favourite at TAB ahead of Arcadia Queen ($4.60).
Santa Ana Lane, TAB’s representative for the world’s richest race on turf, has been as much as $4.60 since the barriers were unveiled on Tuesday night, but has returned to $4.40 outright favourite.
Arcadia Queen was $4.20 outright favourite at TAB just before 9 o’clock last night AEDT until 7:30 this morning AEDT, but she has eased since to $4.60 second elect.
Pierata has eased from $4.80 to $5.50 since the barriers were shown on the Sydney Harbour Bridge last Tuesday night.
Three-year-old colt Yes Yes Yes has tightened from $11 to $9 since Tuesday night including one bet of $2,000 at $9.50 yesterday.
Redzel, victorious in the only two editions of the TAB Everest, is currently rated a $10 chance.
