Sizzling Belle has been best backed in Black Opal Stakes markets
Punters are hoping it will be a local win in the Black Opal Stakes (1200m) at Canberra as one of the runners trained on the track has been well backed at odds.
That is Sizzling Belle, trained by Nick Olive who has been heavily backed at odds throughout betting. Sizzling Belle is three for three and was an impressive winner of the prelude. $17 seemed crazy and the punters agreed. She is now at $5.50 after some key scratchings.
With early confirmation he is running in the Black Opal, Bondi is the $2.80 favourite and is hovering there, touching $4.40 a couple of times before scratchings. He just holds the call over Encryption at $3.10.
There is support at odds for Dreaming Of Biscay who is $51 into $17.
