Alligator Blood is the short priced favourite in a star studded CS Hayes Stakes
Queensland star Alligator Blood holds the favourite tag with Sportsbet.com.au when it comes to the CS Hayes Stakes (1400m) this Saturday at Flemington.
The David Vandyke trained three year old comes to this off a little freshen up after winning the Magic Millions. He sits as the $2.20 favourite and is very solid in early betting.
The horse that most eyes will be on is the Kiwi star Catalyst, who gets another kiwi star, James McDonald, to steer. He is at $2.60 after opening that price and touching $2.50.
Dalasan, who was good late first up in the Manfred, got to $7.50 after opening $6.50 but has firmed back to his opening quote.
