Switched on punters will be licking their lips after online bookmaker Sportsbet.com.au opened an apparent odds-on favourite at the long odds of $51.
The Ben Currie-trained Cuddle Me Tight is scheduled to line up in an 1100m Handicap at Toowoomba this Saturday and alert punters could have snatched the long-odds before the bookmaker reeled her quote into $1.60.
Sportsbet had originally opened the Tony Gollan-trained Shamurt as the $1.40 favourite with the filly winning on debut at Doomben last month.
Cuddle Me Tight, out of Love Conquers and So Cuddly, is having her first race start for Currie after no official trails.
