The Group 2 Let’s Elope Stakes at Flemington will bring together a mix of emerging and proven mares on Saturday.
Fresh from a dominant Caulfield win, On Display is expected to head betting markets when they open on Monday. The Mick Price and Michael Kent Jnr-trained mare produced a big ratings performance last start and looks ready to step up again.
Among the rivals are quality performers Wrote To Arataki, Abounding and Marble Arch, while Graham Begg’s Splash Back adds further interest.
Crowd favourite Oh Too Good resumes with Damian Lane in the saddle, joining a field that also includes Terrestar, Running By and the Hayes-trained Marble Arch.
Chris Waller has entered Kinesiology and Lazzura, rounding out a deep contest that should give plenty of pointers towards the mares’ program this spring.
