The Kevin Heffernan Stakes is a Group 3 weight-for-age feature over 1400 metres at Caulfield, bringing together quality middle-distance gallopers early in the Melbourne Autumn Carnival.
A key test of class and fitness for horses aged three and older, it often sets the tone for autumn campaigns and gives form lines to bigger targets later in the season.
