Four listed events are in store for punters when racing heads to Randwick on Saturday. The program will be run and won under fine weather, the track will be in the good/dead range and the rail is out 4m for the entire course.
As has been the case at the past couple of meetings in Adelaide, Nathan Rose looks set to dominate the meeting at Morphettville on Saturday. Again, take him in the Jockey Challenge because he does look a good thing. The meeting is highlighted by the $80,000 Listed Durbridge Stakes (1200m).
A couple of quality gallopers will kick off their Spring/Summer preparation at Eagle Farm on Saturday with Gundy Son being the most intriguing one.

One of the older race clubs in New South Wales, the Krambach Racing Club, will have their cup day meeting at Taree on Friday with a very good card of racing.
The Darley operation look set to dominate early on in Mornington on Friday. The eight race card will be run under poor weather, with showers expected. The track will be dead5 or worse and the rail is out 7m for the entire course.
Some lovely types will be out on display when thoroughbred action heads to Wyong on Thursday with the most notable one being Monaco, a beautiful looking mare by King Cugat who is unbeaten in four runs this time in.
Here’s hoping the track at Cranbourne has held up well after their cup meeting on Sunday because racing heads there again on Thursday for another strong day of action highlighted by the $140,000 No Fuss Solutions Classic (2025m).
The Caulfield Cup carnival heats up on Wednesday with Thousand Guineas day. The $500,000 feature race is dominated in betting by Atlantic Jewel from the Kavanagh yard, who has looked in three runs to date and looks very hard to beat with the main danger, according to punters, being Mosheen.
A really good meeting is set down for Doomben on Wednesday with good size fields and plenty of depth ensuring you’ll get a good run for your money.
It’s Murray Bridge Cup day this Wednesday and apart from the $80,000 Listed feature race over 1600m, the rest of the meeting looks to have next to nothing in depth or class. But here’s hoping we have the winners for you right here.
Small fields are in order for punters early on when racing heads to the Kensington track at Randwick on Wednesday. The meeting also sees the city debut of boom Western Australian apprentice Michael Grantham.
As is the case always, punters will find it hard work to get the winners at Grafton when racing heads there on Tuesday but hopefully we have got them here for you.
