Kovalica is odds on with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Eagle Farm this Saturday, the Queensland Derby (2400m).
The Chris Waller trained three year old is on the seven day back up after running a beauty last weekend in the Doomben Cup. He has drawn well and back to his own age, he clearly appeals, sitting at $1.95.
The only other runner at single figures is SA Derby runner up Promises Kept at $6.00. Next best is $10, held down by Aberfeldie Boy and Special Swey.
