The racing public who attended Eagle Farm today had their afternoon’s entertainment cut short when they had to vacate the track by 3.30pm to meet the protocols set by the Queensland Government after it had announced a snap three-day lockdown earlier in the day.
The two races scheduled after 3.30pm continued meaning the meeting was completed without participants being affected.
The lockdown will be reviewed on 4pm on Tuesday.
