Champion sprinter Black Caviar may have produce a future star after her daughter Invincible Caviar scored an impressive win at a Pakenham jump-out on Tuesday.
The two-year-old by I Am Invincible is trained by Peter Moody and was ridden by jockey Brian Higgins, both were keen to keep a lid on her ability.
“It was nice to see her lengthen like that. She’s at a stage now where you can confidently say she’s not no good,” Moody said on RSN 927.
“What ability or where she lies in the food chain will be guided by how she improves off the back of that trial firstly then off the back of a few gallops.
“She’s a metropolitan class filly. Is she going to be a black type filly? Look, she needs to improve more.
“She has done everything right. She has won a trial in good order. Let’s hope we can find a nice two-year-old fillies race for her in a couple of weeks’ time.”
