Young Werther has had good support in early betting on the Autumn Classic

Early support has come with Sportsbet for Young Werther to take out the Autumn Classic (1800m) this Saturday at Caulfield.

The Danny O’Brien trained three year old comes through the brutally run Autumn Stakes from two weeks ago. Punters think he will bounce off that with the early support arriving. Opened $3.70 and is now at $3.50.

Khoekhoe opened equal favourite at $3.70 and remains there. He is first up and has trialled well leading in. That pair have a good hold on the market with next best being Butter Chicken at $6.
