Leading Wodonga trainer Craig Widdison has been disqualified for two years by the Victoria’s Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board after one of his horses after tested positive to bicarb.
Widdisin fronted the RAD Board via video link-up on Wednesday to answer three charges relating to an elevated bicarb reading taken from his horse Cash Crisis at Sandown in February last year.
Widdison pleaded guilty to administering, or causing to be administered, a prohibited substance to Cash Crisis for the purpose of affecting the performance or behaviour of the horse.
The Wodonga trainers disqualification will begin next Thursday.
