Dalasan is an easing Caulfield Guineas favourite after drawing a horror barrier
He’s drawn one of the widest gates, but Dalasan remains favourite with Sportsbet.com.au to take out the Caulfield Guineas (1600m) this Saturday.
The Macdonald/Gluyas trained colt was a handful for Raquel Clark in the Prelude and would have won had he run straight when second to Alligator Blood. He opened $3.20 and is out to $3.50 after drawing the widest gate.
Alligator Blood has clearly been the best backed runner to take out the feature, into as short as $4.80 from $6 but has settled at $5. Godolphin galloper Subedar had early interest, into $14 from $18, but is now at $16.
