Godolphin colt Impending has posted the most important win of his career, claiming the Stradbroke Handicap at Doomben.
The richly bred three-year-old was given a midfield run by jockey Corey Brown before charging late to beat In Her Time and Clearly Innocent in the Group One race.
Impending gave former champion jockey Darren Beadman his first Group One win as a trainer.
