Race caller Terry Bailey has cost punters close to $4,000 at Sale today after he called the wrong horse in the final 200m in Race 4.

Bailey mistook Black Soul who hit the front 100m and looked home for last placed Trinidadian. The mistake meant Betfair punters took any odds for (last placed) Trinidadian to win with some punters even taking the $1.01 available with close to $4k traded.
Not only did punters lose backing Trinidadian, layers also got smashed with a few astute punters taking the $600 on offer about Black Soul.
Trinidian traded as low as $1.01 with nearly $4,000 traded at that price, with Black Soul (BSP 11.02) snatched up at prices of up to $600.
