Racing NSW Stewards were this afternoon advised that the analysis of a sample taken from the horse Rivo Boy, trained by Anthony Cummings at Randwick, returned a negative result to the Hendra Virus.
Bio-Security measures were put in place at Randwick this morning as a precaution, however, these measures have now been relaxed following this afternoon’s result.
Rivo Boy will now be the subject of a necropsy report to be performed by the University Teaching Hospital at Camden in the comings days to ascertain the cause of death.
