Today’s Seymour race meet has been Abandoned due to the weather.
The heavens opened minutes before the day’s first event, the storm dumping 9 mils of rain on the track in 15 minutes.
Stewards inspected the course with jockeys and quickly declared the surface unsafe for racing due to surface water sitting on the track after the downpour.
