As many of us expected the world’s best race horse ‘Frankel’ has eclipsed his three rivals in the Group 1 Sussex Stakes at Goodwood racecourse by over 6 Lengths.
It’s not often a horse gets sent out at $1.04 and can be considered good value but punters who took the short odds where never in doubt with jockey Tom Queally never having to touch the unbeaten son of Galileo.

With today’s win Frankel has extended his winning streak to twelve wins from twelve starts.
Frankel went into the race as the top rated (timeform rating) horse ever and it is likely this will improve after the performance we witnessed at 12:10am AEST.
It isn’t certain where Frankel will race next but it is likely the Juddmonte International Stakes at York racecourse over 2,000 metres could be the next time we see Frankel grace a race track.
