1 I’m Nipote (Bet Now: $7.00) looks the most obvious after an eye catching effort over 1400m here, working home strongly from off speed when second. Extra 200m looks ideal, maps to get a sweet sit, the one to beat IMO.

3 Aurora Queen (Bet Now: $8.50) is flying for Adam Durrant. Big winner at Pinjarra two back before going to Albany when giving them a start and a beating. She’s earned a crack in town and is one of the leading contenders.

4 Kirrily (Bet Now: $27.00) is a handy mare that resumes. She ended last prep on a high with a win over 1900m at Esperance before being spelled. Couple of trials under the belt, I’d watch betting and see what it does.

2 Fancy Red (Bet Now: $4.20) looks the pony to beat. She ran over 1800m two weeks ago in the Diggers Cup when ridden with a sit and worked home strongly behind Outspoken Lad. I think riding her with a sit, 2100m is fine, and strikes a winnable race.

3 Rocking Society (Bet Now: $10.00) was a real eye catcher in the Geraldton Cup, getting a mile back in the run but charged late in the piece when second to impressive winner Royal Law. Good track/distance record, he commands respect.

5 Rock ‘N’ The Jam (Bet Now: $1.50) is the new kid on the block so keen to see how he goes at this level. He has won two on the bounce, firstly over the mile before a sharp all the way triumph over 1800m. Unknown at the trip but is bred to eat it up.

2 Black Ora (Bet Now: $3.90) is a ripper for Adam Durrant and is top seed for me. She gave them a start and a beating to win two weeks ago at this track/distance, producing a brilliant finale to score. Heap of speed to sit off here, I think she’ll launch over the top and win again.

1 Tycoon Harry (Bet Now: $11.00) is four weeks between runs since a track/distance win, sitting on speed throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to score. Good test here but he’s a very genuine animal.

3 Desert Whisper (Bet Now: $3.60) is a Luke Ernie trained mare that resumes, her last run coming in the Summer Scorcher when pulling up slow to recover and with an elevated heart rate, so a genuine excuse. If she brings her best, she’s dangerous, so watch betting.

3 Mark The Sky (Bet Now: $8.00) looks a clear top seed. He debuted two weeks ago over 1100m here when back near last in the run and worked home strongly when second. If he can use the gate to settle closer, he’ll take holding out.

1 He’s A Machino (Bet Now: $2.05) comes back to 1000m after racing in the Karrakatta where he seemed to have every chance and while held, he was far from disgraced in defeat. Back in trip suits and commands respect if there is petrol left in the tank.

6 Levati Dimezzo (Bet Now: $14.00) is a Team Gangemi trained juvenile on debut off the back of a sharp trial win last week at Belmont, winning narrowly but moved well and ran decent enough time. Keen to see how he goes.

6 Westbound (Bet Now: $1.40) looks quite progressive and should take beating here. Three weeks between runs since an arrogant win over 1400m here, settling just off speed and was trucking under Berry before being clicked up and away he went. Rise in trip looks fine and he’s the only horse here with upside/progression.

2 Simply Thinkin’ (Bet Now: $8.00) steps up to 1800m after racing over the mile here a fortnight back. She got off speed and kept chasing in a good effort behind Noble Connection. Think the ride in didtsnce suits and she commands respect.

1 Odinaka (Bet Now: $11.00) is racing like 1800m will suit and is a previous winner at the track/distance. He ran behind Noble Connection two weeks back, seemingly getting every chance in transit just off speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Doubt he wins but can run first four.

3 Swingman (Bet Now: $4.00) will land near the front and take running down. He ran at this track/distance three weeks ago when on speed and kicked but just couldn’t quite see it through when second to Snitzalatte. He’ll land near the front and take running down.

1 Kings Court (Bet Now: $6.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when on speed and he fought hard in the straight to fend them off and score. Good racing style, he clearly appeals against these.

8 Capitola (Bet Now: $71.00) is a very interesting runner. Luke Fernie trained three year old that resumes after a Spring/Summer prep where he didn’t really fire the most part. Resumes without a trial but the stable can get them ready so watch betting.

7 Hot And High (Bet Now: $1.75) is a smart filly for Dion Luciani that resumes. She went 3/3 to start her career during the Spring/Summer, the final run being an impressive display in the Lee Steere. Looks to have trialled well, she takes beating.

3 The Calabrese (Bet Now: $6.50) was an impressive first up winner at this track/distance a fortnight back, giving them a start and a beating in an electric return. Good upside/improvement to come, he’s clearly in the mix.

4 Crippalenko (Bet Now: $71.00) steps up to 1200m after racing over 1000m here two weeks back. He got off speed and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing in a good effort behind Black Ora. Like him up to 1200m…doubt he wins but can run first four.

8 Wineaclocksumwhere (Bet Now: $16.00) steps up to 1400m after racing over 1200m in The Joey three weeks ago. He had every chance from just off speed but lacked the class. Much better suited here, can press forward and take beati

9 Malletier (Bet Now: $2.20) should prove hard to beat. He ran over this track/distance a fortnight back, working home strongly from off speed when second to impressive winner The Calabrese. Extra 200m looks fine, he commands respect.

Ability wise, I think 3 Opportunistic (Bet Now: $14.00) is the best horse in the race. Just not sure where he is at after an awful Spring/Summer prep. Given a good break, looks to have trialled well, he’s a definite yard and market watch.

12 Think Pink Daze (Bet Now: $19.00) is the one to beat. She was an impressive winner last Monday at Pinjarra, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive performance. Good test here at Saturday metro level but confident she can measure up.

3 Snow God (Bet Now: $3.50) was game in defeat over 1200m last time when wide no cover for the trip yet fought on really well in defeat when third. Maps much better this time around IMO and he can take this out.

5 I’m Crafty (Bet Now: $31.00) didn’t do a bad job when resuming at Narrogin, getting off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good return. Fitter and up to 1400m, he’s a knockout hope at a likely decent price.
