Ten races will be run and won at Randwick on Saturday for Ingham Day. Weather is fine, track is good (4) and the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

1 Veandechance (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the way to go in the opener. Matty Dunn trained mare that resumed at the midweeks at Doomben when giving them a start and a beating, launching late from the back for a big win in a great return. The Dunn/Nash combo off a win in Brisbane has been a proven recipe and suspect it will continue here.

3 Unrelenting (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the way I am leaning in what looks a pretty competitive Highway. He ran at Kembla on Gong Day where he seemingly had every chance but was drawn inside and I don’t think the inside section was complete A1 ground so the fact he ran third, the run had merit. Prior effort behind The Dramatist was strong and back on firmer footing, he’ll take beating.

4 Mosgold (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a slight query at a strong 1400m but she is a mare racing well for Tash Burleigh. She ran in the Highway a fortnight back at Kembla when on speed throughout and tried her guts out but couldn’t quite get there when second to impressive winner Zouatica. She has that hard 1400m run under the belt now, which should hold her in good stead.

10 Mogwai (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. Lightly raced galloper for James Cummings that i think will be suited back to 1400m after getting the maiden win out of the way over 1550m where he was given a peach by J Mac and duly saluted, albeit was getting the staggers late, so back to 1400m I like and right down in the weights, he appeals.

4 Diamond Model (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks ready to win and should appreciate getting to the home track. All three runs for the Mick Minervini have been super, the latest being a few weeks back at Rosehill where she hugged the rail, the best ground, but she still found the line with purpose when second to impressive winner I’mintowin. Hard fit now…looks so well set up to my eye.

11 Runwiththetide (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has an engine under the hood to give this a shake. He has been solid and around the mark in all runs this prep. He ran on his home deck at Kembla two weeks back when near the speed and tried hard but just seemed a bit bogged down on the wet ground behind With Your Blessing. 1400m should be ideal and on firmer footing, he’s an improver.

2 Golden Decade (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing really well at the moment. Matty Dunn trained gelding that won well two back before going to Doomben two weeks ago when off the speed and kept chasing in a decent effort behind Black Minto. That was his first look beyond 1200m for the prep and now he has that 1350m run under the belt, which should hold him in good stead.

5 Rapbidash… (Bet Now:  $SP.00) beware the unbeaten horse. 3/3 in her career to date and Lyle Chandler seemingly has a talented mare on his hands. Her win first up at Newcastle was electric, giving them a start and a beating in wearing down a city performed horse, Black Duke. She’ll love the rise to 1400m and as they say, you don’t know how good they are til they’re beaten.

7 Associate (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Danielle Seib trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since the Wagga Carnival when fourth in the Guineas behind Smartawi in what has been a hot form race with five winners. No trials from what I can see but first up in town at 1400m signals some level of intent.

8 Terra Mater (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the straight bat option for mine. Jarrod Austin trained mare that looked a good thing when she resumed under the lights at Canterbury and under a confident steer from Nash, she belted them late and drew clear for a sharp return. Good improvement to come, proven Saturday metro performer, lands on speed, hard to beat.

1 Chief Conductor (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect. Sara Ryan has her stable absolutely humming, including this guy, who was a total forgive two back in a Midway before going to Canterbury where he got the dream sit behind the speed before angling clear and finishing best over an in form Melbourne raider, Port Albert. Leading contender in a race like this.

9 Ningaloo Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing in solid form for John Sargent. Strong on speed winner two back here on Big Dance Day before going to Canterbury. She landed on speed again and seemingly moved well but couldn’t quite pick up late when third to Rocketeer Girl, beaten under a length. Racing well and should be around the mark once again.

6 Deep Joy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. Maher/Eustace filly that debuted over 900m at Newcastle where she gave them a start and a beating, launching late to finish over the top for a sharp debut win. She has the run under the belt and the way she found the line to win, 1000m is ideal and in a tricky race, she is the straight bat play.

10 Jupiter Hills (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat. Well bred filly for GaiBott that is on debut off the back of a couple of trials, the latest coming here last Tuesday when attempting to lead throughout and although wanted to lay out under pressure, she kept on and was pretty good, run down late by a stablemate. Stable are flying with their juveniles so watch the market and see what it does.

1 Beer Baron (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Cosmic Force colt for Neil Osborne that is having start one. He’s had two trials to get ready for his debut, the latest coming here last week where he was near the speed and battled away pretty well in defeat in fast time when third to Straight Charge. Hard to know what level of talent he has, but off the latest trial, he can pinch a first four spot.

9 I’mintowin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is lightly raced and has good upside to come to my eye. Former Kiwi that has had two runs for GaiBott, winning impressively first up at Rosehill before going to Newcastle and 1850m three weeks ago when on speed throughout and fought hard but couldn’t quite finish it off behind Wineglass Bay. 2000m is the query but if he leads and gets control, he’ll take running down.

6 Wineglass Bay (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat here. Chris Waller trained gelding that is three weeks between runs since winning over 1850m at Newcastle where the ride from Schiller was something else, taking the narrowest of gaps between runners and drove hard the last 50m to win. The rise to 2000m looks ideal and that was his first run in several weeks, so with improvement to come, he’ll take beating.

2 Wicklow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing a bit dour to my eye so I reckon a rise to 2000m suits for Chris Waller. I was keen on him in The Big Dance but he did nothing behind Attractable. He then went to The Gong where he was nearer the inside, the quicksand, so forgive and forget the run. Think up in trip will suit and with his best, he is clearly good enough to be dangerous.

I can be 4-5 runners here and still miss. My main bet though is going to be a horse I have been potting for a while, 13 Hinged (Bet Now:  $SP.00). I have been potting her in the sense she doesn’t win, but she has been taking on A graders since pretty much her 4YO season. She won’t know herself against these, she’s so well in at the weights, her trial was good and the last 100m of her Empire Rose run was very good.

Gee I reckon there is a great each way value bet here in the shape of 12 Dark Destroyer (Bet Now:  $SP.00). Group l winner from NZ that had his first run for John O’Shea in The Hunter where it was pretty much a barrier trial for him given he was dragged back from the wide gate and in an on pace domination, he was never a factor behind Coal Crusher, but the last 200m was excellent, and through the line. Up to 1600m, more fair track, perhaps the edge off the track…I think he only runs well.

I’ll also have a small each way speck on 20 Age Of Kings (Bet Now:  $SP.00), who comes through the Golden Eagle when wide throughout and was part of that awful bumping battle with Strait Acer and Amelia’s Jewel, which sealed his fate. He won’t mind juice in the track and the stable wouldn’t persist with him this prep if he hadn’t come through the run okay. Trial was good…I wouldn’t be dismissing him.

8 Fox Fighter (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an each way bet for me. David Payne trained sprinter that is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday in the Starlight at Rosehill where he got off the speed but tracked up with purpose and loomed to win but being second up, few weeks between runs, he just lacked the race polish to put them away when a close up fourth to Dragonstone. He has run well on the back up previously and I do think fitter, up to 1200m, he’ll take beating.

3 Insurrection (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take beating here for Michael Freedman. This guy was unwanted in betting a fortnight back in The Warra but nobody told the horse that as he led throughout and he was there to be beaten but he found plenty under pressure to fend them off and get the win. The query is 1200m but off last run, it should be fine and rates as one of the leading contenders.

6 Waihaha Falls (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a fab second up record and is quite dangerous. John O’Shea trained gelding that resumed on Big Dance Day at Randwick where he got back in the run before coming wide to try and get into the race but in a sit/sprint, he couldn’t quite get the job done but was far from disgraced in defeat behind Capo Strada. Better for the run under the belt, he appeals.

5 Aristonous (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a talented animal for Annabel Neasham that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since August 5 over 2400m at Rosehill when very one paced in the straight and was a tired horse when a plugging third to Verona. He’s been given a good break and with a couple of strong trials under the belt, first up at 1600m should be fine. Leading contender.

7 Deficit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing well I feel for Ryan/Alexiou. He did more than enough first up here on Big Dance Day before going to Gong Day at Kembla where he was solid from off the speed but I don’t think he was as effective given the wet ground behind King Of The Castle. Third up, hard fit now, off the first up run, he’ll take beating.

1 Promitto (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has finally found positive form and he can certainly go on with it now and is dangerous. He ran on the home deck at Newcastle three weeks back where he was back from the inside gate and although he was never threatening to beat Tavi Time, he found the line well enough behind the promising Kris Lees animal. Off last start and the form out of it, he’s a threat.

7 Way To The Stars (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is creeping up in the relative weights but he is flying at the moment. He last raced at the Rosehill 1100m on Golden Eagle Day when leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in, leading from start to finish in a dominant display. Harder here, more depth, but good racing style and in form, he rates highly.

11 Iowna Merc (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can bounce back for sure. He was kept very safe in betting when resuming on Big Dance Day at Randwick. He just did a bit too much work to find the front and that early burn told late when run down by Quick Tempo. Think with a more economical run in transit, he has the brilliance and engine under the hood to win.

6 Dehorned Unicorn (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver for Joe Pride. He ran in The Warra two weeks ago at Kembla where he was tracking up nicely behind the speed and loomed to win when asked by Jones but just couldn’t quite finish it off behind Insurrection. That is two runs at 1000m to start the prep so the rise to 1100m should suit and third up, he should be hard fit.
