3 Play Fair (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a three year old with promise, on the up for Neville Parnham…is the WA Derby too far away? Not sure, but I am confident he can win this. Latest start was over this trip at Pinjarra when giving them a start and a beating to win quite impressively. The rise to Saturday grade is fine and strikes a winnable race.

1 Blazing Tycoon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance where he got a fair way out of his ground and made up solid headway in the straight when third to Zackariah Beau. He’ll get back again but he has that 2200m run under the belt, which holds him in good stead.

4 His Eminence (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a query at 2200m but brings the strong form lines, his latest run being three weeks back over 1800m here when back in the run and failed to get involved when down the track behind Rommeo. He has run well at the trip previously, he’s in the mix.

6 Essentric Nature (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a gelding heading in the right direction for Team Williams and should take beating here off the back of a first up win over 1100m at Bunbury where he gave them a start and a beating, producing good change up speed from off the speed to score. Upside/improvement, he rates highly.

4 Hit The Jackpot (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a query at 1200m but he is flying at present for Ryan Hill. He is 3/3 this time in, winning the first two in impressive style at Albany before going to the straight at Pinjarra when leading throughout and he was much too good in an impressive display. If 1200m is fine, then he’s hard to beat.

8 Split Jete (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when wide throughout and yes, he had cover, but just couldn’t get involved when down the track behind Lonsdaleite. The first up win was good so don’t dismiss him.

8 Star Power (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is five weeks between runs for Neville Parnham since racing over 1200m here where she led and didn’t find much in the straight when down the track behind Rocket Juice. Given a mini break and the tick over trial was a pretty good piece of work. Keen to see how she goes.

6 This’ll Show Ya (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Mitch Pateman trained filly that is heading in the right direction. She ran third over 1100m here last Saturday when leading and giving a good sight from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through when third to At Your Service. That form clearly reads well for this.

2 Pacific Boxer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after racing over 1200m here last time when on speed throughout and tried hard but just felt the pinch late in the piece behind Caporetto. Back in trip I like and with his racing style, he’s a must for exotics.

2 Who’s Talking (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have an engine under the hood and should take beating against these. He debuted two weeks ago here where he got a fair way out of his ground and although niggled at early, he kept finding the line and was good in defeat. He’ll spot them a start but better for the debut run, he take beating here I say.

1 Just Walter John (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third in the race mentioned above. He was on debut and his run was full of merit I thought, sitting wide no cover throughout and he stayed on really well in defeat. If that hasn’t busted him, he should be around the mark.

6 Messina (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Simon Miller rained filly that was met with market suooort when debuting here and fewer getting a suck run nearer the inside, she failed to come on and was plain late. She had trialled well prior so don’t sack her just yet.

5 Memory Parade (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and she can go on with it. Latest start saw her break a run of outs when winning two weeks ago at this track/distance, giving them a start and a beating to win impressively. The race isn’t much stronger re depth and seems the straight bat play.

1 Fluro Neuro (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness after racing over this track/distance three weeks ago where he was back off the speed and although held up at times, he kept finding the line and was solid enough in defeat behind Hostile Talk. Hard fit, his best is good enough.

4 Cable Boy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs since contesting the Mungrup Sprint at Mount Barker when wide with cover and back before angling wider and finished off well enough without threatening behind Final Siren. Small field suits, he’s one for multiples.

4 Success Play (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat off the back of a win over 1500m here two weeks ago. Credit to him, he led throughout and was there to be beaten by El Patron but he found under pressure to fend them off and get the job done. Back to 1400m is fine, good racing style and off a win, takes beating.

10 Blazing Emerald (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. She ran over this track/distance at the midweeks last time where she was just off the speed and presented to win when clear but just found one better. Hard fit now and despite the tricky gate, commands respect.

2 Sessions Peak (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran down the track behind Success Play two weeks back but I think he had excuses. He was keen just off the speed and I think that energy burn by being keen took away his finale. I think if he can produce better racing manners, he’s good enough to threaten.

1 Ice Pick Nick (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the most obvious here. He resumed over 1100m here three weeks ago where he got back to near last in the run and worked home with real purpose I thought when second to the in form All Play. Fitter and up to 1200m, depth not as deep here, I think good luck beating him. Keen.

4 Lonsdaleite (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing over this track/distance last Saturday. He got too far out of his ground but really liked the way he closed off in defeat behind Golden Vale. If he can settle closer and be within range, he’s dangerous enough to win.

7 Catch The Red Eye (Bet Now:  $SP.00) likely lands on speed and will run a positive race, as seen at Bunbury last time out in a solid Class 5 and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when second to Magnasonic. Good racing style and is a must for exotics.

1 Man Crush (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. He ran two weeks ago in the Scenic Blast and was a real eye catcher after a slow beginning, working home with purpose when second to Twains Angel. Clean jump, he can settle closer snd still be effective late.

3 Twain’s Angel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat for Team Casey off the back of the Scenic Blast win where she got a dream sit in transit, just a matter of getting clear air and once that eventuated, away she went. She can go on with it.

2 Snowdome (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one I can entertain for exotics. This guy ran two weeks back in the Scenic Blast when near the speed and seemingly had his chance, just feeling the pinch late. Not sure he wins but can run top four.

4 Comic Hero (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat here for Simon Miller. He resumed at this track/distance last Saturday where he got back off the speed and worked home with purpose in a good return when fourth to Caporetto, beaten a length. Better for the run under the belt, can settle closer and still be effective at the end.

7 Gold Maker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since Dec 21 at this track/distance. He got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he worked home and was a definite pass mark behind Daytona Pete. Interesting he is here with fresh legs…potentially with eyes on the Magic Millions, but he has a touch of quality.

9 Border Control (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1200m after racing over 1000m down the straight at Pinjarra last time when off speed and kept finding the line well enough in defeat. Not sure he is good enough to win but with a better set up here, he can run top four.

3 All Grunt (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bred to eat up this trip and beyond. I thought he was going to be a WA Guineas horse after an electric debut win but pulled up shin sore at Belmont and was spelled. Resume over 1200m here where he gave them a start and a beating in an electric performance. Fitter and up in trip, he takes beating.

1 Noahquintilly (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. She ran two weeks ago at this track/distance when off speed and was under pressure early, just whacking to the line late in the piece behind impressive winner Rock N The Jam. That was her first run in a few weeks so she has upside/improvement to come and her best is good enough.

9 Diamond Dancer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has had a couple of runs at 1200m and is racing like 1400m suits. Latest run was here on Jan 22 when off speed and closed well enough in defeat I thought when third to Yorga Pride, who has the potential to be Stakes class, so keen to see how he goes.

4 Great Demon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been strong in two runs back from a break and looks ready to win. He ran last Saturday over 1500m here, getting a fair way out of his ground but he worked home with purpose and was good in defeat when third to Prince Of Santos. The rise to 1600m I like and if he can settle closer, he takes beating.

1 El Patron (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a slight query at 1600m but with his racing style, he’ll give himself every chance. That was the case a fortnight back over 1500m here when near the speed and looked the winner when presented but just found one better in Success Play. If the trip is fine, he can win.

2 Forever Dreaming (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fifth to Success Play two weeks back in the race mentioned above. She was wide with cover throughout but was keen off a slow speed and couldn’t quite get involved and just whacked late. More genuine tempo here, she can run an improved race.

5 Citino (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to the mile after racing over 1800m here four weeks ago where he got back off the speed and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was good in defeat behind Sowar. Like him back in trip and with a more positive ride, he takes beating.

1 Bruce Almighty (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the likely leader and with front end control, will take running down, as seen over 1400m here a fortnight back, attempting to lead throughout and giving a solid kick from the front, but just couldn’t quite finish the job. If he leads and gets a cheap time of it, he takes beating.

4 Sowar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be given another look after racing two weeks back at this track/distance when wide no cover throughout and that hard run just told on him late in the piece when down the track behind Sensessional. Better run in transit, he’s dangerous.

NEXT BEST: Race Eleven Number 4 Great Demon

LONG SHOT: Race Three Number 8 Star Power
