4 Iceman (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up and should just about be at peak fitness. Total forgive two weeks ago at Rosehill I thought given he got badly checked at the wrong stage of the race and I reckon it took the stuffing right out of him when third to Starphistocated. Hard fit, 1600m, big track, D Day.

3 Zenmaster (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a pretty impressive all the way winner several weeks ago. He led throughout and credit to him, he was there to be beaten, but he was quite strong to the line and impressive in getting the job done. Good racing style, he appeals.

9 Dollars (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to town after a win over the mile at Taree where he looked a good thing on paper and duly saluted to win and win well. Harder here but he was dominant last time so I’d say he’s in the mix for sure.

12 Juja Kibo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was big odds a few weeks back when resuming at Randwick. He just found them a bit sharp but was far from disgraced in defeat. Might have eyes on 2400m+ but in the right camp and has good upside, plus loved his recent trial. Clearly appeals.

7 Piggyback (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a super winner of the Parramatta Cup and stamped herself as a top seed for the Sydney Cup I think. She gave them a start and a beating, producing nice change up speed when asked to score. Hard fit, 2000m, she clearly appeals.

14 Unlimited (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has really come of age this time in for Chris Waller. He tried hard last Saturday at this track/distance but just couldn’t quite get there. Dangerous if he can overcome the draw I feel.

Pretty keen on 12 Rachini (Bet Now:  $SP.00). Loved what I have seen from this Bjorn Baker filly in trial work, notably the latest trial when leading throughout, and ran time. Drawn wide but should press forward and will be hard to run down.

3 Miss Chanel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran a few weeks back in the Pierro Plate. She was near the speed throughout and I thought was there to threaten but she just whacked late and couldn’t quite get the job done. Good racing style, hard fit and I think 1200m is okay. Key hope.

11 Legaselli (Bet Now:  $SP.00) debuted in the Pierro Plate three weeks back. She got into a decent spot in transit and was there to threaten I thought but first start, condition just gave way late. Better for the run…doubt she wins but she can run first four.

Keen to be with 4 Paradoxium (Bet Now:  $SP.00). Bjorn Baker trained colt that was going to be right in the mix for the Magic Millions but those plans were aborted due to injury. He has returned and his trial win last week was absolutely electric. He needs to win to run in the Slipper so it’s chips in from the stable’s perspective and likewise me. Keen.

1 Stretan Ruler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be the one from the Silver Slipper. He had the right run in transit but even allowing for that, he made an absolute mess of them and ran decent time. Maps to get a sweet run once again, he commands respect.

3 Incognito (Bet Now:  $SP.00) had excuses first up in the Canonbury before going to the Silver Slipper where he was ridden stone cold and found the line well enough in defeat behind impressive winner Stretan Ruler. 1200m and getting back to Randwick are two big ticks so he’s a definite improver.

I am warming more and more to 6 Caffe Florian (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for Richard Litt, who can find a good horse. She’s better than these IMO. Yes, beat nothing in the Summer, but the way she did it, especially the Gosford Guineas…she’s a rocket, trialled like a rocket last week, and confident she can measure up here.

4 Inkaruna (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a quality filly for Team Freedman that resumes. She ended last prep on a high with a Thoroughbred Club Stakes triumph at Caulfield during the Spring. Looks to have trialled well for the return, watch betting.

5 The Playwright (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a GaiBott filly that resumes. She is first up, having not raced since Sep 20 when down the track over 1400m at Caulfield in the Jim Moloney. Looks to have trialled up well and her best is good enough to be dangerous.

Was hard not to miss the run of 2 Pinito (Bet Now:  $SP.00) in the Millie Fox two weeks ago. It was clear fence in run was gold, and on speed, and given she was off speed, coming wide, yet still make up the ground like she did…such an encouraging return. Could be the Epona moral in two weeks time but I think off the return, she’s top seed here.

7 Polymnia (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to the mile after resuming over 1300m here three weeks back. The race was run at a crawl and the inside was ideal. She did a really good job to get back, wide and run on like she did in defeat. Fitter and up in trip, weight relief, she takes beating.

10 Starphistocated (Bet Now:  $SP.00) jumps a fair way in grade/depth/class but she is a mare in form and is hard fit. Dominant win in the Midway two weeks back at Rosehill and while the pattern may have been in her corner, she chased the leader and was strong to the line. Keen to see how she goes at Stakes grade.

I am hot on 4 Generosity (Bet Now:  $SP.00) this prep. I’ve loved the way she has looked in trials to get ready for her return, the latest coming last week at Rosehill where she looked to be jogging in behind them. Has eyes on The Galaxy, she’ll run a beauty here I reckon.

5 In Flight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous for Joe Pride. She was pretty good during the Spring but I do think that short course racing is his go in life, so she appears suited here, I dare say with eyes towards The Galaxy. Trials have been solid, watch betting.

2 Mazu (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is first up for Joe Pride and is dangerous I feel. He last ran in the Spring in the Russell Balding when on speed and fought hard but was no match late for Jimmysstar. Has looked pretty strong in trial work and while he is getting on in years, he does have sprint in his legs it appears.

Keen on 1 Autumn Boy (Bet Now:  $SP.00). I thought he was fabulous in the Hobartville when resuming, working home strongly against the bias behind Ninja. Fitter, 1600m, Grand Final, more upside than most…he’s clearly top seed for me. Keen.

2 Attica (Bet Now:  $SP.00) likely has eyes on the Rosehill Guineas but he was very good when first up in the Hobartville. Admittedly he was nearer the inside but loved the way he kept chasing in defeat behind Ninja. He’ll love the Randwick and will be stronger than most late. Key threat.

4 Rivellino (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one I can entertain for exotics. Total forgive in both runs back when near last in races dominated on speed and was never really a factor. He wasn’t too bad late in the Hobartville…I doubt he wins but he can run first four at odds.

Hard to get away from 6 Joliestar (Bet Now:  $SP.00). She was arrogant in her return in the Expressway, getting better as the race went on, knuckling down with purpose late to wear down Caballus. Looks so well placed at 1300m at WFA, good upside and only has to hold her form to be the likely winner again.

7 Lady Shenandoah (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver from the Expressway. She didn’t look 100% ready re condition and while she didn’t win, I thought she ran a beauty the way she closed off in defeat behind Joliestar. She’ll be strong late and I feel has more improvement to come.

3 Linebacker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a class animal that resumes for the O’Shea/Charlton camp. He had a pretty solid Spring prep and the difference has clearly been his manhood being removed. He has trialled up really well for the return, should press forward and be dangerous.

I was stunned that 13 Eagle Express (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was near $20 all in. I am not a ratings/data nerd, but those who are suggest that the Signor Tortoni race (which was luckless in), rated through the roof. I can only assume that is why she is nominated here and really, off the noms, this isn’t a deep Stakes race, this is pretty much a Saturday benchmark race outside the top couple in betting.

8 More Territories (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an O’Shea/Charlton trained mare that resumes. She hasn’t raced since the How Now in the Spring when far from disgraced in defeat behind Proved. Looks to have trialled up pretty well and will be strong late.

10 Lady Extreme (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1200m after racing over 1000m several weeks ago here when first up, getting off speed and was solid late without threatening. Fitter and up in trip, if within range, she has the finale to launch late.

BEST BET: Race Eight Number 1 Autumn Boy

NEXT BEST: Race Nine Number 6 Joliestar

LONG SHOT: Race Ten Number 13 Eagle Express
