Nine races has been set down for Morphettville on Saturday. The weather is fine, the track is soft (7) and the rail is out eleven metres for the entire circuit.

1 Blandford Baron (Bet Now: $2.45) should prove hard to beat here for Travis Doudle. He resumes, having not raced since Cup Week at Flemington when down the track in the Inglis Banner. Given a good break and his jumpout work suggests he’s here to play.

6 Swooshka (Bet Now: $9.50) comes to Adelaide for Phillip Stokes after debuting with a fourth at Bendigo. She settled on speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch late, perhaps needing the run. Fitter, and back a fair way in depth, she appeals.

2 Neveu (Bet Now: $4.40) is a son of Rich Enuff that resumes. He debuted on the Parks track back on March 14 when second to impressive winner and Stakes class filly Never Ordinary. Looks to have jumped out well and strikes a winnable race.

11 Miss Chevalier (Bet Now: $1.65) is a leading chance after a debut second three weeks ago here, driving hard from off speed when second to the above average Bred Em All. Better for the run and back to maiden grade, she takes beating.

6 Street Legal (Bet Now: $4.00) is a son of Exceedance that resumes for Phillip Stokes. His last run was Nov 8 on the Parks track when second to Skadoosh, leading and just feeling the pinch. Looks to have jumped out well, will press forward and take running down.

2 Be Brief (Bet Now: $8.50) is a son of Kermadec that debuts for Team Jolly. He had extensive trial work in the Summer without a run. He has had just one soft 600m jumpout this time in but with the camp, I think you just have to watch betting.

3 Sixteen Reasons (Bet Now: $10.00) comes back to 1050m after racing over 1200m in the Proud Miss three weeks ago where she was given a chance in betting but didn’t really fire behind Naifah. First up run in the John Hawkes was a beauty and off that effort, she’ll take beating here.

1 Sir Now (Bet Now: $2.45) did a really good job first up on the Parks track a fortnight back, sitting on speed and loomed to win but just found one better in Mintulee. Good racing style and will look the winner for a long way I am sure.

2 Winning Revolution (Bet Now: $23.00) was the real eye catcher behind Mintulee two weeks back on the Parks track. He was near last in the run but made up good ground late in the race when third. He can settle much closer in the run and be effective late.

10 Peta’s Heart (Bet Now: $6.50) was a sharp winner a few weeks back at Morphettville, giving them a start and a beating under a lovely steer from Will Price. Was building to something and now that she has, she can win again.

2 Wine Barron (Bet Now: $5.50) has been given a four week let up since a track/distance win, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. He should find the top here and take running down I say.

7 Bolted In (Bet Now: $6.50) is on the seven day back up for Matty Seyers after racing last Saturday at Murray Bridge where he got into a beaut spot and thought he was there to win but just couldn’t quite get past Isuspectjeu. Back to 1800m from 2000m should be fine and strikes a winnable race.

9 All Shot (Bet Now: $12.00) is in a purple patch for Jon O’Connor and confident he can measure up here. Impressive winner two back at Bordertown before proving that was no fluke with a sharp win at the midweeks at Gawler. Good test here, but think he only runs well.

5 Act Natural (Bet Now: $6.50) is a Phillip Stokes trained gelding that resumes. He ended last prep on a high, FINALLY breaking the maiden tag with a win over1200m at Gawler. Looks to have trialled up super for the return, watch betting.

8 Dreams Fulfilled (Bet Now: $9.50) was a total forgive I thought from two weeks back at Morphettville Parks when wide throughout and never really got involved. He’ll spot them a start again but hopefully not too far away and his best is good enough.

2 Golden Horizon (Bet Now: $3.60) was really gallant in defeat behind Bred Em All last time out given he was four wide no cover the trip and wasn’t beaten too far. If that hasn’t busted him, I say he’s right in the mix here.

6 Wind Rush (Bet Now: $5.50) is two weeks between runs for Michael Hickmott after racing at Morphettville Parks when off speed and worked home well when fourth to Sparkling Luck. He can settle closer, he takes beating.

8 Shocap (Bet Now: $11.00) is capable. She ran over 1050m here three weeks back in the Bred Em All race mentioned above where she got back and made up some ground, but was never really threatening. Back to this level, she’s an improver.

10 Sassy For Sure (Bet Now: $3.80) ran third to Bred Em All a few weeks back at Morphettville, working home strongly from near last to finish third. If she can settle closer or be within range, she has the finale to take this out.

7 Vanlee (Bet Now: $9.50) has been given a mini freshen up since April 18 when first up. She resumed over 1000m on the Parks track and was good late from off speed I thought. Likely will spot them a start but should motor late.

15 Stolen Kiss (Bet Now: $21.00) has been given a freshen up since April 22 when on speed over 1400m at Murray Bridge and tried hard but just felt the pinch late in the piece when second to Common Interest. Good racing style and back to 1100m looks fine.

3 Safe Bet (Bet Now: $23.00) steps up to the mile after a first up win last Wednesday over 1400m at Balaklava. He was wide no cover throughout but was moving well and when clicked up, he found plenty under pressure to fend them off and score. Leading contender.

4 Royal Sway (Bet Now: $2.90) was a sharp winner on the Parks track two weeks ago, sitting off speed before angling into clear air and he let down with real purpose to win and win well. Back up to the mile, kind map again, he rates highly.

15 Sassy Sophie (Bet Now: $12.00) ran second to Royal Sway two weeks back on the Parks track. She had a suck run in transit just off speed and was there to win but just lacked the finale to go with the eventual winner. Racing well and should be around the mark.

11 Falanghina (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way in the last. She ran at Murray Bridge last time where on face value, I thought she was poor, but when watching the replay, I thought she ran about as well as she could have given the race shape. Maps to settle much closer and be effective late.

5 Falstaffian (Bet Now: $8.00) is a Price/Kent trained gelding that comes here off the back of an impressive first up maiden win at Geelong, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in. Good test here, could have run against his own age in the previous race, but elects to come here.

4 Crown Mint (Bet Now: $26.00) was sneaky good two weeks back on the Parks track. He got a fair way out of his ground but was good late without threatening when fourth. If he can settle closer, or get a drag into the race, he’s dangerous at odds.

NEXT BEST: Race Three Number 3 Sixteen Reasons

LONG SHOT: Race Nine Number 11 Falanghina
