6 Black Duke (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form…can he go on with it? The win came over 1350m at Wyong where he was a drifter in betting but the ride from Wadick was a peach, slicing his way through the field and he dashed clear late for a dominant win. Prior efforts in town were sound and off that win, he has to be respected.

Fitter and up to 1350m are two big ticks for 1 Dimaggio (Bet Now:  $SP.00). Kim Waugh trained gelding that resumed over 1200m in the Midway here where he just looked in need of the run and ran accordingly, finishing down the track behind Willaidow. He does have an excellent second up record and up in distance, more positive race, he can bounce back.

5 Obvious Step (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a very genuine mare that deserves a crack at Midway level. Big win from her last start at Newcastle, giving them a start and a beating, producing a big finale from the back to win and win well. If the tempo is more than genuine and they can run on from the back, she’ll take holding out at odds.

3 Cenotes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Colt Prosser and for mine, is hard to beat against these. Had specking first up at Randwick and just looked in need of the run behind Gallant Star before going to 1400m here two weeks ago where he was a real eye catcher late in the piece behind Bon Frankie. Third up, hard fit, a rise in distance and if he can settle closer in the run, he’ll take holding out.

2 Aimpoint (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness for Mack Griffith. He seemingly had every chance behind Bon Frankie a fortnight back in the Highway and while he was held late, he was far from disgraced in defeat, beaten just under three lengths. He has a touch of class/quality at this level so I think you have to give him another look.

6 Lensman (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise in trip for Wayne Wilkes. He ran over 1400m here two weeks back in the Highway where I was keen on his chances but he was very one paced in the run to the line behind Bon Frankie. Third up, should be hard fit and up in distance is ideal, plus off the first up win, he can take this out.

8 Prost (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Snitzel for GaiBott that resumes and appears wound up to go fresh. He hasn’t raced since debuting in the Breeders Plate where he got back off the speed and spotted those in front a start but I really liked the way he found the line late when third to Espionage. Trial work suggests he’s ready to go so watch the market and see if it agrees.

5 Fearless (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is first up for Team Snowden. He debuted in the Breeders Plate where he got back to near last in the run and spotted those in front a tidy start but I really liked the way he found the line late in the piece behind Espionage. He has looked strong in trial work and will be stronger than most late.

6 King Of Roseau (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has done little wrong in two career outings and commands respect. He debuted with a strong win at Canberra before racing here two weeks ago where he kept chasing but he bumped into a potential Slipper candidate in Fully Lit. Start three and has hard racing experience/fitness under the belt, which holds him in good stead.

2 Malkovich (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will jump on the bunny and take running down. He ran down the straight at Flemington in the Kensington back in December when leading and was one of the first beat, finishing last. Given a break and his tick over trial to get ready has been more than encouraging so I am keen to see how he goes, especially if he gets front end control.

3 Lady Laguna (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is very likeable here. She had a fab prep in Brisbane, winning the Nudgee at Eagle Farm before repeating the dose with a dominant win in the Magic Millions F&M. This isn’t a deep Stakes race and despite a tricky gate, on form, she is clearly hard to beat.

1 Baller (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has run well at Rosehill in the past and the stable should always be respected when they come South. This guy ran in the Magic Millions Snippets at the Gold Coast and I thought he was far from disgraced in defeat behind a Group l class animal, King Of Sparta, closing off well. This race isn’t deep so for mine, he gets respect.

6 Lady Of Camelot (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks wound up to run well and secure her spot in the Slipper. She resumes after debuting in the Gimcrack where she was wide no cover throughout yet loomed but that hard burn just told late when fourth to Manaal. She has been excellent in two trials to get ready and appears wound up to go.

2 Alinea (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a stablemate of the top tip that also resumes after debuting in the Gimcrack where she was tardy away, got back, held up, but eventually did get clear and found the line well enough behind Manaal. Trial work has been quite sharp and with a clean jump, she’ll land on speed and be hard to hold out.

1 Manaal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Michael Freedman trained filly that resumes, having not raced since the debut in the Gimcrack where she took a little while to wind into her work but once clear, she really attacked the line and was impressive in winning. Trial work to get ready has been encouraging and she will be strong late. Definite winning chance.

2 Age Of Sail (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a really good prospect for Kris Lees and confident he can make it 2/2 down under. Australian debut came over the mile at Warwick Farm where he got the sit behind the leader. Just needed to get clear air and once he did, he got better as the race went on and was impressive in winning. Fitter and up to 2000m, good luck beating him.

4 Morning Sun (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a moral on Wednesday so it’s very interesting they run here and take on Age Of Sail, whom he ran second to at Warwick Farm. He too was making his Australian and just lacked the change up speed but was strong to the line in defeat. J Mac on and has a more kind map vs Age Of Trail so he’s clearly likeable.

10 Angel Of Light (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing well for Team Hawkes and is nearing a win. Three weeks between runs since racing over 1800m at Randwick where she was near the speed and tried her guts out but couldn’t quite finish the job when third to Louisville. Has won up to 2100m and ran okay at 2400m so rising to 2000m here, home track, she can run an improved race.

2 Robusto (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been up forever it seems like but he is a gelding that is holding his form really well. He ran two weeks ago over 1400m here, getting the sweet sit in transit before angling clear and he made a mess of them late to win impressively. Only has to hold his form and I think he’ll go very close.

3 So Risque (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Team Hayes and commands respect. Got a lovely ride from Gaudray to win at Flemington a fortnight back, sitting just off the speed before coming with a well timed run and finished best to win well. Good test here against likely types but maps ideally and gets Nash.

8 Ita (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a good mare for Bjorn Baker that commands some level of respect. She ran in a 78 Mares race two weeks ago at this track/distance when back off the speed and she took a while to wind into her work but she was very good late when a close up third to Bootscooter. Gets good weight relief here and can settle much closer in the run.

4 Gracilistyla (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one of the key threats for Chris Waller. He ran at Rosehill three weeks ago where he was ridden cold and it worked, finishing off with real purpose late but couldn’t quite get the win when a narrow second to Testator Silens. Jury was somewhat out on him but now he’s found positive form, he can certainly go on with it.

8 Man In The Mirror (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver at odds. Annabel Neasham trained gelding that resumed at Wyong where he wasn’t entirely happy on the tight track but once balanced up, he found the line really well to finish fourth. Not the best of overall records but he does have a touch of quality when right and with upside, he’s a key chance IMO.

3 Conrad (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up for Kim Waugh after racing last Saturday at Randwick where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never threatening, he kept finding the line in a good effort behind Bandi’s Boy. Like him up in trip and in a winnable race, I think he has to be given serious respect.

9 So Good So Cool (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will jump near the bunny and take running down. He got back off the speed in the Union Army race from three weeks back and while he was never really a threat, he found the line quite well to finish third. Stable absolutely flying, lands on speed (hopefully) and will be strong at the end.

6 Our Kobison (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a nice horse and I am keen to see how he goes at 1200m. This guy was game in defeat fresh behind Tintookie before turning the tables on that girl a fortnight back here, getting the dream run behind the speed under J Mac before getting the splits and showed nice change up speed to win. Good test here, but confident he measures up.

10 Dipsy Doodle (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a James Cummings trained filly that resumes. This girl is first up, having not raced since the Scone Carnival when placing in the Woodlands behind Hip Hip Hoorah. Given a good break and with a couple of sharp trials to get ready for the return, despite the tricky gate, she’ll be around the mark.

14 The Black Cloud (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a filly I have plenty of time for. Joe Pride trains this girl, who is unbeaten in two career outings, winning with authority on debut at Gosford before going to the Kenso where she was strongly challenged in the straight but she found, kicked and drew clear. She has the potential to be Stakes class so I am keen to see how she goes.

13 Stefi Magnetica (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Bjorn Baker trained filly that is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. She resumed with a bang when winning at Orange before going to Flemington when racing down the straight and kept finding in a strong effort behind Power Ballard. Like her up in trip, will press forward and be hard to get past.

2 Afterlight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous with her best. Chris Waller trained mare that ran in the Diamond Dealer race from three weeks back where she was back near last in the run and she did make up headway but was never really threatening behind the Bjorn Baker mare. Think she is a far more dangerous prospect if ridden forward so hopefully that eventuates here.
