1 Holy Racket (Bet Now:  $SP.00) landed in a plum spot near the speed two weeks back at this track/distance and once that eventuated, it was race over. Just a matter of pushing the button and once that eventuated, away he went to win. His confidence is up, he can go on with it.

8 Miss Personality (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a progressive mare that is a short course specialist and appears suited here after a first up win over 800m at Ipswich where she looked a good thing on paper and duly saluted to win and win well. Harder here but confident she can measure up.

4 Bine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here for Tom Dabernig after a win last time at Warrnambool on Jericho Day, giving them a start and a beating in an impressive effort. Harder here but off last run, she’s one of the leading contenders.

1 Tambeloa (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a bit on the one paced side so rising to 2100m looks ideal. He ran two weeks ago in the Grand Prix when near the speed and I thought was there to win 400m out but he just sort of whacked to the line late and was never really a factor albeit did finish third. Getting towards peak fitness and up to 2100m, he’s the way I am leaning.

2 Agent Zero (Bet Now:  $SP.00) beat up camels to win a Hawkesbury maiden two back but proved that was no fluke in the Grand Prix with a game second to Matias, trying his guts out but just couldn’t quite get there. He’s racing as if 2100m suits and this isn’t a deep contest.

7 Tap High (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bred to eat up 2100m so keen to see how he goes off the back of a maiden win over the mile at Doomben, getting front end control and he had enough in hand late to score. Racing like the rise in trip will be fine and is a good camp for stayers. Knockout chance.

1 Warwoven (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a really good prospect for Bjorn Baker that debuted with an electric win at Randwick, chasing the leader and really knuckled down with purpose late to draw clear and win impressively. Natural improvement off that, he’s clearly going to take beating.

2 Lumbini (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has already stamped herself as a top seed for the Magic Millions and can further cement that here. Start one came in The Debut at the Gold Coast where she looked in trouble early on in the straight but she barged into the clear, class came to the fore and she was much too good. Commands respect.

5 Say You Will (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second in The Debut behind Lumbini. She copped a nasty check via Lumbini and for a first starter, she could have easily spat the dummy out but she kept chasing and was really good in defeat when second. She’s right in the mix.

I reckon 12 Quothquan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is humming and each way, I reckon he’s a good gamble. He hasn’t raced since the Winter when winning the Townsville Cup, giving them a start and a beating in a very impressive performance. Two trials under the belt, looked to jog in the latest at Beaudesert…I think he’ll only run well at odds.

4 Band Of Brothers (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Matty Dunn. Narrowly missed out on a Stradbroke berth via The Gateway last time, just finding Tuned a touch too strong in the run to the line. Only has to hold his form and he’ll take beating.

8 Sailor’s Secret (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run over 1200m here. He just found them a bit sharp but he stayed on and was far from disgraced in defeat I thought behind Dream Smart. Fitter, has a kind map in his corner, only runs well.

I think 2 Manzoice (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a throw at the stumps each way. He ran behind Sibaaq two weeks ago here over 1800m, getting back in a race dominated on speed and did make up ground but was never really a factor. Much better suited here, up in trip, a gate to settle closer, he’s going to take beating.

3 Walsh Bay (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was given a sore back two weeks ago over 1800m here, sitting wide no cover throughout and the hard run just told late when fourth. Very good mare with staying talent and with a better run in transit, she’s surely going to take beating here.

4 Red Wave (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing over 2000m at Doomben. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat I thought. The rise to 2100m should be fine and his best is good enough to be a knockout hope so don’t dismiss.

2 Midnight In Tokyo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be top seed here. She is flying for Team Archibald, the last start being an all the way win in the Just Now when getting front end control and she was never getting beaten. Back to 1200m is fine, she’s in a purple patch and see no reason to jump off.

9 Sunset Dreaming (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran a game second in the Just Now behind Midnight In Tokyo. She got into a decent spot in transit just off speed and was there to win but just lacked the change up speed to go with the winner. Knocking on the door and commands respect.

7 Lonhro’s Queen (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fourth to Midnight In Tokyo in the Just Now. She just got too far back in the run and in a race dominated on speed, she was never really a factor but kept chasing and was quite good in defeat. Like her back to 1200m and if she can settle closer, she’ll be dangerous.

I think 1 Damien (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can bounce back hard here. To the eye, he was plain behind Grafterburners in the Gold Edition but for mine, that was his third run at 1200m for the prep in a row and he just wants further, which he gets here, he gets a hungry Craig Williams on…good each way speck.

2 Ninja (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came in the Pierata at Doomben. He got off speed and was held up at times but found the line strongly when clear when third to Grafterburners. Fitter, and with room to move, he’s dangerous.

13 Dialidae (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to town for Lockwood/Vincent after a dominant win at the Sunny Coast, leading throughout and she gave nothing else a look in to win and win quite well. Heading in the right direction and I think she can measure up here in what is a winnable race.

Chips in 7 Tavs (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. Total forgive in the George Moore. They tried to ride him warm but he was stuck wide no cover and the hard run told. He will love getting to 1300m, Eagle Farm, will sit back off the speed, come to the outside and just round them up. I think he should be favourite, and clearly. Keen.

2 Rothfire (Bet Now:  $SP.00) tried his absolute guts out in the Lough Neagh two weeks ago when on speed and was there to win but had no answers late for the finale of Rockribbed. Fitter and up to 1400m, good racing style, he takes beating here.

I am keen on Tavs but the saver/speck has to be 13 El Morzillo (Bet Now:  $SP.00). She is sneaky flying I reckon this girl but just hasn’t had a rider all prep, whether it be Cejay or D Moor. Collett pulled their pants down last Saturday, he’s a rider in form and his riding style suits this mare perfect. Sit back, last look and launch.

10 Cutepi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second to Mister Bianco two weeks back at the Gold Coast, sitting off speed and was held up at times before getting clear and drove hard late but just missed out on the win. She’s found positive form and can certainly go on with it.

5 Hella Fast (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a bit on the plain side two weeks ago at this track/distance, but I will say I thought he had genuine excuses. Had a sticky gate to contend with, did early work and just whacked late. Maps to do no work here and gets a big rider upgrade. Dangerous.

12 Ha’Penny Hatch (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a bit on the plain side a fortnight back at this track/distance, getting off speed and was there to threaten when presented but she didn’t fire when asked. Hit and miss this time in but her best is good enough to be dangerous.

6 Mintaka Lad (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a great each way gamble to close out the meeting. He ran over 1400m here two weeks ago where he just found them a bit sharp after getting back but loved the way he closed off behind Silver Wedding. Blinkers on, hot speed to sit off, he’ll be strongest late.

12 Amuseantes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is progressive and heading in the right direction for Rob Heathcoate after a first up win at Doomben where she gave them a start and a beating in an impressive performance. Good upside to come, she’ll appreciate a good speed to sit off, she commands respect.

13 Delexo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is sneaky flying I think for Kristen Buchanan. Did more than enough fresh at Wyong over 1200m before coming back to 1000m here when off speed and kept chasing behind Holy Racket. I think he’s right in the mix against these as a first four threat.
