8 Night Market (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was kept quite safe in betting when debuting in the Jewel Prelude three weeks back and she ran an honest race. Just couldn’t quite finish the job on the testing track. Better for the run, had trialled super prior, I say she’s hard to beat.

1 On The Clock (Bet Now:  $SP.00) won by a big margin at Toowoomba last start. This is a tougher task but you don’t win that easy without a lot of ability. Should lead and be hard to run down if he can race up to that level again here.

7 Culminating (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Better Than Ready filly that debuts for Matty Dunn. She has looked pretty good in trial work, including an effort which saw her place at Deagon. Bred to be a handy one and overall, this race isn’t deep for mine, so I say she’s in the mix.

3 Rezone (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should take a power of beating here for Mark Currie. He was 1800m back to the mile two weeks ago here and kept chasing in the straight but had to settle for a second to Last Command. Back up in trip, back miles in depth, he’s a clear top seed.

2 Make A Call (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate getting a rise in trip after racing a fortnight back over the mile here. He just got too far out of his ground and made up some headway but was never threatening. More positive ride here, he’ll take beating.

4 Jack Duggan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1800m after racing over the mile at Randwick two weeks back in the Midway. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never threatening, he kept chasing and was far from disgraced behind Zenmaster. More positive ride and up in trip, he appeals.

5 Last Command (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was an impressive track/distance winner from two weeks ago, sitting near the speed and was trucking before being asked for the effort by McMurray and he got better as the race went on. Flying and is clearly the one to beat.

6 Free Carry (Bet Now:  $SP.00) attempted to lead throughout in that race mentioned above. He gave a decent sight from the front but third up, condition just gave way late. Hard fit now, front end control, claim, he’ll run well.

7 Canberra Legend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate getting a rise in trip after resuming over 1400m here two weeks back where the market says he wasn’t there to play and ran accordingly behind Celestial Blaze, but was far from disgraced. Good upside, not dismissing here.

6 About To Explode (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is ready to win. Just looked in need of the run first up before going to this track/distance two weeks ago where he tried hard from just off speed but couldn’t quite get there when second to Bundella. Hard fit, good racing style, he takes beating.

7 Moonhaven (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is humming for Mark Currie and is one of the hardest to beat. He has won his past two, both coming over 1000m here, the latest being two weeks ago when giving them a start and a beating, knuckling down with purpose to score. Harder here and 1200m but commands respect.

5 Brereton (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when off speed and kept chasing without threatening behind Hatchet. Maps to settle much closer, be effecetive late and a win wouldn’t shock.

3 Ten Deep (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1350m at Doomben several weeks ago. She was heavily backed into odds on but seemed to have her chance and just whacked late when third to Glass Of Rose. Fresh legs and off the first up effort, she’s hard to beat here.

8 Zoufani (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing over 1200m at Doomben when off speed and chased with purpose in the straight when second to the in form stablemate Dominant Darcy. Racing well at present and she strikes a winnable race against these.

2 Runwiththetide (Bet Now:  $SP.00) had front end control over this trip at Doomben a couple of weeks back and gave a decent kick from the front but couldn’t quite see it through when third to True Amor. Not sure he is good enough to win this but is one for exotics.

4 Angel Ladder (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. She attempted to lead throughout and gave a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late when third to Dr Farthing. Good racing style, she’ll be around the mark.

1 Dr Farthing (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was kept relatively safe in betting when resuming three weeks back at Eagle Farm in the Jewel Prelude. He got into a lovely spot near the speed and was trucking before being clicked up by Du Plessis and he found plenty late to score. He’s right in the mix.

6 Boss Mode (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after a dominant maiden win at the Gold Coast where the market wanted him late and he duly saluted in impressive fashion. He’s found that winning feeling, he can certainly go on with it.

3 True To Form (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Kris Lees. Had been trialling up like a rocket prior to a first up win at Canterbury at a big price, giving them a start and a beating in a sharp return. Big track, fitter and 1400m, he’s one of the hardest to beat.

8 Cho Oyu (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should have finished closer at Doomben last start if not for a bad start. Because of that he sat further back than expected and still ran on well. With a good jump here and the ability to sit closer I think he will be right in the finish.

6 Chamierro (Bet Now:  $SP.00) probably needed the run last start and should be a lot fitter in this. His form last preparation would see him be very competitive in a race like this. If you can forget his first up run then you have to include him in your selections here.

11 Addition (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating for Tony Gollan after her return over 1350m at Doomben when off speed and was held up at times but when clear, she worked home with real purpose when second to Tomba. Fitter and up in the trip, she takes beating with good upside to come.

2 Celestial Blaze (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Rob Heathcoate. 2/2 this time in, the latest being two weeks back over 1400m here when landing on speed and credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to fend them off. He’ll have no issue with 1600m and confident he runs well once again.

4 Lupine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in the mix for Mark Currie after an impressive win last start at Warwick when appreciating a fast speed and finished best to score. He should appreciate getting to 1600m, big track, good upside, the claim and does boast a win over Celestial Blaze. He’s a threat.

NEXT BEST: Race Three Number 5 Last Command

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 3 True To Form
