2 Crossbow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a good horse and confident he can get a maiden win on the board. He was held up at times a few weeks ago at Randwick but I did think he had his chance, even though he drove hard late to just miss. Big track, room to move, keen.

4 Exit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can put her hand up for better races with a forward showing. She resumed with a bang over 1300m at Sandown, giving them a start and a beating, getting better as the race went on to win well. Fitter, up in trip, she commands respect.

1 Hillier (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to town and to Melbourne after a first up win at Newcastle where he got better as the race went on to win narrowly but impressively. Fitter and up in trip, he rates highly.

8 Samuel Langhorne (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will love this if it became a proper 2500m test. He saw the 2800m out well enough two weeks ago but just lacked the change up speed late, but stayed on well to run third. Back in trip, he’ll be strong late…like him here.

2 Muktamil (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited back to 2500m and is fitter after being four weeks between runs when stepping up to 2800m a fortnight back. He looked the winner when presented but the lack of hard fitness just brought him undone in the end. Fitter, and back in trip, he appeals.

4 Wyclif (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has good upside to come and does have the C Maher polish. He ran over 2000m two weeks back behind Sayedaty Sadaty and was good late without threatening. Getting towards peak fitness and 2500m, he appeals.

2 Capper Thirtynine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Nick Ryan trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since March 22 at The Valley over 1500m when on speed and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when fourth to impressive winner Stay Focused. Like him fresh at 1200m and has jumped out well.

6 Be Bergerac (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door for Grahame Begg. He looked the winner when presented a fortnight back here but just found one better in La Fracas, nailed late. Back to 74 grade, good racing style, claim, he rates highly.

8 The Shaper (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Team Freedman trained gelding that comes to Saturday metro level off the back of a midweek win at Sandown when giving them a start and a beating to win and win well. Draws well for the straight and is in well after the claim.

9 Documentary (Bet Now:  $SP.00) I’ve landed with. He ran behind Losesomewinmore two weeks ago down the straight here when first up. He got back and was held up at times but was good late when eventually clear. He’ll get room to move and fitter, strong late, he can win.

2 Losesomewinmore (Bet Now:  $SP.00) loves the straight course and is one of the key chances. He was a strong winner two weeks ago down the straight here, knuckling down with purpose late to nab Harry Got Styles in the last hop. Hard fit, racing well, he commands respect.

5 Veloce Carro (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Ciaron Maher trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since April 12 at Bendigo when far from disgraced in defeat behind Title Fighter. Jumped out well enough and does like the straight course. Watch betting.

14 Federer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) gets his chance I say. He ran three weeks ago at Randwick when off speed and chased strongly in the straight but couldn’t quite get there when a narrow third to Aberlour. Hard fit now, the engine is under the hood, keen on his chances.

5 Euphoric (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one of the hardest to beat. He ran two weeks ago at this track/distance where he got too far out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up headway and was pretty good in defeat behind Sayedaty Sadaty. Back to 78 grade, he appeals big time.

10 Morning Sun (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver for Team Archibald after resuming at Randwick when back off the speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat. Blinkers back on and good upside to come, he’s right in the mix.

8 Zou Sensation (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in a purple patch and rates highly once again for the Corstens/Larkin camp after two wins, the latest being three weeks ago at Caulfield where he got a sweet sit in transit and knuckled down with purpose late to win. Runner up was El Rocko, who won last Saturday, so the form reads super.

4 Run Harry Run (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over this trip at Caulfield when attempting to lead throughout and he gave a strong kick from the front but just felt the pinch late in the piece when fourth to Zou Sensation. Perhaps with a bunny to chase, he’ll be more effective.

9 Green Fly (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should love getting to 1400m on a big track like Flemington after racing a few weeks back in the Winter Stakes where he got back to near last in the run and worked home with real purpose late in the piece behind Estadio Mestalla. If within range, he has the finale to win.

2 Marble Nine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has been kept on ice since the Santa Ana Lane Final where he was too good for them. Credit to him, he was there to be run down but he found under pressure to fend them off and score. He loves the straight course, good racing style, hard fit, he clearly appeals.

11 Splash Back (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs for Grahame Begg, having not raced since June 21 when winning over 1400m here, spotting them an impossible start but savaged the line late to score in impressive fashion. She’ll spot them a start but be strong late.

10 King Of Roseau (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Peter Snowden and takes beating I say after a couple of wins on the bounce, the latest being a fortnight back when getting a sweet ride by Sherry and finished best to win and win well. His confidence is up, he can go on with it.

5 Outta Compton (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing very well for Mark Webb and is one of the key chances after his second three weeks ago behind Until Valhalla. He lobbed into a beaut spot just behind the speed and presented to win when asked but just couldn’t quite see it through when a narrow second. Racing well, strikes a winnable race, hard to beat.

15 Too Darn Discreet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous wtih her best. Dan O’Sullivan trained mare that resumed over 1400m a few weeks back at Caulfield where she lumbed the big weight and just found them a bit sharp. Fitter and up in trip, her best is clearly good enough to be dangerous.

4 Angry Skies (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to the mile for Team Hayes after racing over 1700m three weeks back at Caulfield where he got back in the run and although he got held up at times, he did seemingly have his chance. That said, he was far from disgraced in defeat. Not sure he wins, but a first four threat.

15 Ten Deep (Bet Now:  $SP.00) could well be a thinker but she gets serious weight relief this time around and third up, she should be hard fit. She has seemingly had her chance in both runs back but that can be said for most of these. Bludger of a race, but she is on top.

11 Jazz Affair (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door for Team Jolly after racing a fortnight back at Flemington in the Rising Stars Final. She tried her guts out but I just think 1600m at this level found her out, nabbed late by Lake Vostok. Back to 1400m is fine and is hard to beat if there is petrol left in the tank.

4 Terrestar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs for Team Hawkes since racing over this trip at Flemington. She got stuck wide no cover for the trip and the hard run just told on her late in the piece behind Miss Tarzy. Better run in transit, she’s dangerous.
