1 Tara Jasmine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a Grafton star when trained by John Shelton and with class on her side, gee I think she’ll take beating here. She ran a few weeks ago over 1100m at Gatton where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she rocketed late when third. Like her up in trip and if within range, she’ll take holding out.

6 So Rosie (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1400m after racing in the Belflyer Prelude over 1175m here. She got back off the speed and was held up at times but when clear, she was pretty good late in the piece when fourth. Like her up in trip and strikes a winnable race.

4 Leica Model (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver up in trip after resuming over 1200m at Tamworth. She got a fair way out of her ground but was solid late in the piece without threatening. Good upside to come and should be strong at the end.

10 Dernier Len (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a filly with an engine under the hood. It was a narrow first up win at Murwillumbah but I thought it had merit given she came quite wide on the turn, made a sustained run yet finished best to score. Confident she measures up.

3 Punch One Out (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat for Glen Milligan. He lobbed into a beaut spot near the speed on the home deck at Taree last start and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when second to impressive winner Cluedo. He has that 1400m run under the belt and gets Bullock to steer.

11 Bianco Nero (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1400m after racing over 1190m here last time out. She got back to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she did make up headway and was pretty good late. Knockout hope.

2 Master Artist (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1100m at Murwillumbah. He lobbed into a good spot in transit and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when second to Dernier Len. Fitter, good racing style, he appeals.

3 What A Gent (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Tracey Bartley trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since Dec 2 at Tamworth when leading and trying hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when third to Magic Stalker. Looks to have trialled up very well and strike a winnable race.

10 Totally Underrated (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a knockout hope. She was formerly with John Smerdon who is now with Samantha McGuren. The latest run was June 26 at Murwillumbah when off speed and seemed to have her chance. Not sure she wins, but first run for new stable, she can improve.

12 Steffi Electrica (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is the one I feel. Toby Edmonds trained filly that won a Prelude here over 1000m, producing sustained speed from the front, spanked her rivals and ran very good time in winning. Natural upside/improvement, she appeals.

1 Albany Road (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key chance for GaiBott. He was 1150m back to 1000m at Hawkesbury last start when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a good effort in defeat when fourth. Hard fit and up in trip, Shinn on, he is a key threat.

2 Exoflow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Dave McColm trained colt that comes here off the back of a Prelude win over 1000m here, leading throughout and was dominant in the run to the line, though I am not sure how strong the race was given the overall time was several lengths slower than the other Prelude. But, he’s in a good camp so watch betting.

5 Enterprise Legend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) to produce sustained speed from the front. He did that when resuming over 1000m at Tamworth, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. Good racing style for the short course, he appeals.

3 Port Erin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat if he can use the inside gate to advantage. He got too far out of his ground at Eagle Farm last start but railed through and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there. If he can use the draw, he’ll take beating.

11 Alf’s Magic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Stephen Lee trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Jan 5 at Lismore when an all the way winner in a sharp display. Trialled well enough leading, I say watch betting and see what it does.

11 Miss Jennifer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is sneaky flying for Danny Williams. She ran behind Sacred Rocks last time out at Rosehill when off speed and kept chasing with purpose without threatening. Going well enough to win and strikes a winnable race.

5 Emperor (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it here. That win came at Doomben over 1110m, giving them a start and a beating, letting down with purpose late to win and win well. He’s flying this horse and has to be respected.

7 Volcanic Love (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is better for the first up run I feel, which came over 1200m at Eagle Farm where he got too far out of his ground and was never really a winning threat. Fast run race, he’ll sit back and launch at them late.

5 Bear On The Loose (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door. He tried his guts out in the Caloundra Cup at the Sunny Coast. He got into a decent spot off speed and tried hard but had no answers late for impressive winner Half Yours. Lands near the front, only runs well.

7 Quietness (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat for O’Shea/Charlton. She has been strong in two runs back from a spell, the latest being in the Tatts Crown when near the speed and presented to win but just couldn’t quite get the win. Hard fit and up in trip, she appeals.

12 Bacio Del Mist (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a beauty for Team Curtis that comes here off the back of a triumph in the Stayers Cup. She got a peach ride by Collett and in a driving go, finished best to score. Trip is no issue, will do no work in the run…a threat for sure.

3 Burning Bell (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an Edmonds/McLean trained mare that resumes. She is first up, having not raced since March 15 at the Gold Coast in the Military Rose when down the track behind Liquor. She is a very reliable fresh mare and has trialled enormous for mine. Leading contender.

4 Outishka (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a short course specialist that is suited here I feel. Scott Singleton trained mare that produced sustained speed from the front and gave nothing else a look in to win at Gunnedah, leading throughout. Last bit will test but she’ll give a good sight.

5 Kote (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. Formerly with Adam Campton, he now finds himself with Wayne Wilkes. He is a short course specialist so resuming at 1000m I do like for him and his recent Taree trial was encouraging, so watch betting.
