There is a bit to like about the way 2 Country God (Bet Now:  $SP.00) goes about things. He is 2/2 this time in, the latest win being over 1200m at the midweeks at Belmont just over two weeks ago where he got better as the race went on and was impressive. Like him up to 1400m, he’s clearly the one to beat.

4 My Authoritah (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is progressive and heading in the right direction for Dan Morton. He was a first up winner last Wednesday at Belmont and while the margin was narrow, he was blessed in run, there was a bit of quality. Pike takes over, good upside to come, he commands respect.

5 Saam Time Lucky (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in the mix for sure after a first up win last Wednesday at Belmont. He gave them a start and a beating, peudixjg great Kate splits in getting the first up victory. He’ll eat up 1400m and is dangerous if he can settle closer in the run.

Hard to get away from 3 Sensessional (Bet Now:  $SP.00) after his first up win at Pinjarra two weeks ago, giving them a start and a beating, getting better as the race went on. Is he capable of getting to a Railway? Long way to go, but he’s a beauty and all things being equal, he should be winning this.

7 Kaptain Kaos (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third to Sensessional at Pinjarra and I thought was quite good in defeat. He spotted them a decent start and while he was never a winning threat, I didn’t mind his finale and the way he finished his race off. If within range, he should run well once again.

6 Blazing Away (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a must for exotics. He resumed behind Sensessional two weeks back at Pinjarra. He got a fair way back in the run but actually closed off alright and clocked decent late splits. Like him up to the mile, good upside, first four threat.

8 Deferred (Bet Now:  $SP.00) to resume a winner. He hasn’t raced since April 26 over 1400m at Ascot where he just looked a tired horse after a long prep, failing to get involved. He does go very well early on in a prep and his trial work has been strong.

3 Madhi Girl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in a real purple patch at present for Simon Miller and is one of the leading contenders after her win last Saturday at Pinjarra down the straight where she found the best part of the track and made a mess of them late. Confidence is up, she can well and truly go on with it.

1 Ghost Who Walks (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a fab record at 1000m so I wouldn’t be dismissing him despite the fact his better days are likely behind him. He ran last Saturday in the Belmont Newmarket and was never a factor behind Phanta. Like him back to 1000m, he’s a definite improver at odds.

If 5 Scully (Bet Now:  $SP.00) brings any hint of his Victorian form, he’ll have a bit on these. Formerly with Andrew Noblet, he now finds himself with Neville Parnham. He was racing really well without winning but looks so well suited here and a recent trial was a lovely piece of work. Keen on his prospects.

2 Dirty Chai (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has earned a crack in town after going 5/5 this prep at the Provincials. Latest win came just under four weeks ago, leading throughout over 1200m at Carnarvon. Good test here against likely types but hard to knock the way she’s going at present.

6 Estimator (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after racing over 1300m three weeks back at Belmont where he seemingly had every chance but was a bit on the plain side late. Not sure he is going well enough to win but he can fill a first four spot.

3 On Patrol (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat for Team Casey. He ran over 1400m at Pinjarra a fortnight back where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he did make up headway and was pretty good late in the piece behind Little Silver. Like him back to 1300m, firmer deck, he appeals.

12 Diamond Dancer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and she can go on with it. That win came at the midweeks at Belmont over 1200m where she got better as the race went on and was impressive in the run to the line. Not an overly deep race this so happy to be in her corner.

2 Corn Cob (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to be in for a good prep for Team Gangemi. He loomed to win when resuming at Pinjarra but just lacked race fitness and condition gave out late. Fitter and up in trip, he is right in the mix.

7 True Player (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up for Team Williams after racing last Saturday at Pinjarra. He got into a reasonable spot in transit off speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when fourth. Stable had a couple nominated byt seem to be keen on this guy, as am I, especially up in trip.

1 Snazzler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can run a much improved race on a firmer deck. Track was too wet for him two weeks ago at Pinjarra and he couldn’t pick his feet up late in the piece behind Dark Looks. Track should be more to his liking here, he can bounce back for sure.

5 Alaskan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a horse that once he finds form, he generally holds it. He worked home with real purpose last Saturday at Pinjarra, just missing out on the win in a driving go. Like him up to 2200m and he seemingly strikes a winnable race.

Firmer footing should help the cause of 9 Petrouchka (Bet Now:  $SP.00). This mare resumed two weeks ago at Pinjarra where the track was too wet for her and she was never really a factor behind Little Silver. Firmer footing, she’ll be hard to hold out.

3 Exceltrain (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key chance after his effort a fortnight back at Pinjarra over 1400m. He landed in a decent spot in transit and seemed to handle the conditions well. Just lacked the finishing polish behind Little Silver. Think with a more patient steer, he’ll be more effective.

7 Border Force (Bet Now:  $SP.00) doesn’t want this track toom wet because firmer the better for him. He was a bit plain a few weeks back but I just think the track was too wet. If he gets a firmer surface, he’s a definite improver.

2 Hostile Talk (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited up in trip after racing last Saturday at Pinjarra where not much went right for him but despite being in inferior ground, he made up headway and was pretty good late in the piece. Like him up in distance and he does strike a winnable race.

7 Becalotti (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited up in distance for Tiarnna Robertson after her eye catching return two weeks ago at Pinjarra, making uo significant ground from the back when second to Spectacular Park. Natural improvement, I say she takes beating against these.

12 Uncle Gerard (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing well without winning but it wouldn’t shock me if he got the victory here. He was held two weeks back at Pinjarra but I didn’t mind the way he closed his race off in defeat. If he can settle closer and be within range, he has the finale to be a threat.
