4 Crossbow (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating for Chris Waller after resuming at the midweeks at Canterbury when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat behind stablemate Central Coast. Form reads super and fitter, up in trip, he appeals.

2 Pillow Fight (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a filly that looks to have talent. She attempted to lead throughout two weeks back in the Tatts Stakes at Eagle Farm and she tried hard but had no answers late for a really good prospect, Autumn Boy. Back to this level, she appeals.

6 Kokatahi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver. Stablemate of Crossbow that debuted in the same race as it, settling just off speed and kept finding the line in a pretty good effort in defeat. Fitter and up to 1400m, good upside, he’s one of the leading contenders.

14 Premise (Bet Now:  $SP.00) could well be the best placed horse in Australia for this weekend of metro racing. Matty Dunn trained mare that has performed very well at metro level in Sydney and Brisbane, Stakes performed, and her last start effort at Ipswich against the pattern was good. Hard fit, 1600m, big track, back miles in depth…good luck beating her.

7 Red Rags To Bulls (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Jeremy Gask trained mare that has done little wrong in 11 career outings, the latest run being a Highway win a fortnight back where she got a peach ride and knuckled down with purpose late to win well. She has to be rated as one of the leading contenders.

10 Royal Teens (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Highway from two weeks back at Rosehill, won by Red Rags To Bulls. She got into a decent spot in transit and tried hard, being quite game in defeat when fourth. 1600m, I think, is okay, and is a must for exotics.

5 Kingston Charm (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned well and should love getting to the mile after resuming in the Midway two weeks back over 1300m. She got back to near last in the run but worked home with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat I thought behind Rolling Magic. Fitter, up in trip, she appeals.

10 Callistemon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and she can go on with it. Kerry Parker trained mare that won the Midway three weeks ago, getting a beaut run in transit just off the speed before being presented clear air, was trucking and away he went to win and win well. She’ll go close again.

6 Aix En Provence (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since contesting the Midway here. He was keen in the run behind the speed and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through and felt the pinch late, but was far from disgraced. Good upside, he’s in the mix.

7 Stardeel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating here for Bjorn Baker. She was ridden with intent to land near the speed and she was trucking before being clicked up and away she went to win and win well in dominant fashion. Looks the leader and from there, takes running down.

1 King’s Secret (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Joe Pride and has to be respected. He was a strong winner at Rosehill a fortnight back, getting the beaut run in transit before angling clear and finished best in a driving go to score. He only has to hold his form and he’ll be around the mark.

4 Bengal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited back to 1100m and for mine, is worth including for wider exotics. He ran over 1300m here three weeks ago when keen behind the speed and just failed to finish the race off. Back to 1100m, kind map, he only runs well.

3 Federer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He was 1400m to 1800m when racing at Rosehill two weeks back. He got off speed and chased well in the straight but couldn’t quite get there behind Misterkipchoge. Hard fit, his best is certainly good enough.

4 Misterkipchoge (Bet Now:  $SP.00) took an eternity to get that winning feeling and now that he has got it, he can go on with it. That win came two weeks ago at Rosehill, finishing best in a driving go to fend off stablemate Pure Alpha. Can he go on with it? Time will telll, but often we see these horses, they get that elusive win and they go on with it.

7 Bright Red (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous with her best. Chris Waller trained mare that ran over 1800m here a few weeks ago in a race dominated on speed, she kept on and wasn’t too bad in defeat behind She’s Unusual. Lands in a plum spot, she should be around the mark.

7 Promitto (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. He got off speed and kept chasing but was never really threatening behind impressive winner Quantum Cat. I think with a more positive ride, he’s certainly dangerous.

4 Zaphod (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can take this out. He ran over this track/distance three weeks ago. He sat on speed and looked to be going well but when asked for the effort, he was flat footed but the last 50-100m, he picked up and wasn’t too bad late. His best is good enough.

2 Royal Supremacy (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1800m. He’s had two runs down under, both over the mile. First up he ran last in the Scone Cup before going to the mile here several weeks back when ridden with a bit more intent and just struggled late. Racing on a firmer deck, hard fit and 1800m, he appeals.

4 Avone (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a fascinating runner. Formerly with Team Sears, she is now with Joe Pride, I dare say in search of city wins and to try and snare some blacktype. She was flying when racing last, but the stable couldn’t find a rider. Trial work this time in has been strong and her best is clearly good enough to take this out.

3 Lulumon (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a short course specialist and is suited here. She won three weeks ago at Randwick, getting the suck run in behind before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose late to win, just, but was strong. Found that winning groove again, she can win again.

9 Iron Will (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver for Tash Burleigh. He ran here three weeks back when back off the speed and kept chasing without threatening behind Lulumon. Not sure he is a horse I could back to win but is one to be entertained for exotics.

4 Oh Diamond Lil (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1400m here when on speed throughout and she tried hard but she had no answers late for impressive winner It’s A Knockout. Like her up to the mile and she’s very genuine.

8 Puntin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is progressive for Bjorn Baker and is one of the key prospects. Loved the way he dug in to win at Rosehill a fortnight back. Credit to him, he was there to be beaten but he found under pressure to fend them off and score. 1600m is fine, good racing style, takes beating.

2 Vega Magnifico (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Team Archibald trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since March 15 at Rosehill over 1900m when down the track behind subsequent Derby performer KIng Of Thunder, so the form reads well and the depth isn’t deep. Watch betting.

11 Mickey’s Medal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating here for Team Archibald. He ran over 1500m at Rosehill two weeks ago where he got a decent enough run in transit off the speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat. 1400m at Randwick should be fine, he is one of the leading contenders.

4 Green Shadows (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous. He ran behind Thunderlips two weeks back at Rosehill. He got off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat I thought. He’s sneaky flying this guy and back to 1400m, he is one of the leading contenders.

12 Testator Silens (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key threat. He was ridden with intent a fortnight back at Rosehill and tried hard but just lacked the killer finale behind Thunderlips. I like him back to 1400m and with a bunny to chase, more patient steer, he’s more effective.

3 Liberty State (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has had two runs at 1200m to start the prep and should love the rise to 1400m. Both of those have come at Rosehill, the latest run being two weeks ago where he wasn’t given the best of steers and was solid late. Hard fit now and up to a more preferred trip, she appeals.

5 Changing Colours (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and she can certianly go on with it after her win two weeks ago at Rosehill, getting a lovely ride from Penza and drove hard late to win well. She has taken a while to win and now her confidence is up, she can go on with it.

1 Captain Amelia (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner because she was backed with sustained confidence three weeks ago here and looked the winner at the top of the straight but she just whacked in the run to the line before backing up a week later at Rosehill and had little luck behind Changing Colours. Threat for sure.
