11/6/2022 Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets – Morphettville

4 Starts With Hello (Bet Now: $2.40) is a horse with talent for Team Jolly. Broke the maiden tag at Murray Bridge last start and I thought there was merit to the win. He was having start two and was strongly challenged in the straight. He could have spat the dummy, but he fought and on the line, was edging clear. Good sign and he can measure up here.

2 Valaroc (Bet Now: $8.00) is one of the key winning hopes. He ran two weeks ago at Murray Bridge over 1200m and was good late from the back, but was still seven lengths away from Karacasu, who had a fair bit on them re class. Depth here is nowhere near as strong and hopefully can settle closer in the run.

Best version of 3 Run And Tell (Bet Now: $17.00) is capable. He just went way too hard on speed fresh at Murray Bridge and rightfully dropped out to finish close to 12 lengths away from Karacasu. If he can harness his energy better, he’s certainly good enough to run a mucn improved race.

13 Legless Lady (Bet Now: $1.55) picks herself. Talented filly that resumed at Murray Bridge two weeks ago and she loomed big time to beat Starts With Hello but the lack of race fitness just brought her undone I feel when a narrow second. That form clearly reads very well for a race like this.

6 Willaston (Bet Now: $6.00) looks like he will win races for Ryan Balfour. He was specked at a massive price on debut at Balaklava when on debut and the move was proven correct as he worked to the line strongly from off the speed to run third, beaten just over a length. if he’s within range, I think he can win.

8 Dixie Whistler (Bet Now: $17.00) is a Richards/Moyle trained mare that resumes. She didn’t do a bad job when last in work, placing on a couple of occasions and bumped into a couple of handy types, albeit over trips longer than this. Might need the run but should be strong at the end.

I’m with 1 Gold Bucket (Bet Now: $5.00). He looks a short course jump/run type so the 1000m of the Parks track here is ideal for that pattern. He was tested at 1100m down the straight at Flemington last time but was no match for a good one in Doull. Back to 1000m, back around a bend, he’ll land on the bunny and be hard to run down.

3 Celtic Vader (Bet Now: $20.00) is placed in a race where she can win for the first time this prep. Understandably so, she’s been tested at Stakes company this time in and she just hasn’t measured up. She’s not at that level. This looks her go. 1000m on the Parks track, hopefully they ride her aggressive, on speed and prove hard to catch.

10 Ladies Lunch (Bet Now: $26.00) is a filly with ability I think. Debuted two weeks ago at Murray Bridge where she had a suck run in transit and loomed to win in the straight but I just think condition gave out when fourth. Has that run under the belt, stable flying with their juveniles, she can win.

1 Outlaws Revenge (Bet Now: $4.40) will love the massive drop in grade/depth. He was very good two back in the McKay before going to the Goodwood where he was back and wide, and never really a factor behind Lombardo, who dominated from the front. If there is petrol left in the tank, he has to rate highly.

3 Extra Time (Bet Now: $2.60) is bursting to win a race for the Macdonald/Gluyas camp. Ran two weeks ago at Murray Bridge and worked home quite strongly from near last in the run when a narrow second to a very much in form Calypso Reign. He’s knocking on the door. Just needs to settle closer in the run. If it does, he’ll go close.

5 Street Life (Bet Now: $34.00) comes here with fresh legs for Karen Byrnes, having not raced since May 7 on the course proper here when back near last in the run and never a factor but was solid late behind Mask Up. If gate one is used to advantage, I think he’ll be dangerous.

2 Medieval Miss (Bet Now: $6.00) looks beautifully placed here by Patrick Payne. Thought she was solid late over the mile two back at Caulfield before going to the course proper here in a fast run 2000m and stuck on well enough behind Pearl Bandit. Hard fit now and proven at this track, she’ll do me.

4 Witsabouthim (Bet Now: $5.00) brings with him some solid form from Victoria, being a last start winner at the midweeks at Sale where he knuckled down strongly late to fend them off and win, just. Stable finds Vorster to steer and overall, this isn’t an overly strong staying contest.

5 Capricorn Ridge (Bet Now: $7.00) is one of the hardest to beat. He was 1800m to 2500m two weeks ago at Murray Bridge and tried his guts out but given the set up, he just couldn’t quite finish it off and was held late by a tough nut in Toyetic. That run under the belt now, should hold him in good stead for this 2250m assignment.

7 Noname Lane (Bet Now: $2.80) has a good record on the Parks track and looks set to peak third up. Ran over 1200m two weeks ago at Murray Bridge where he attempted to lead throughout at a solid clip and battled away okay late behind an in form Calypso Reign. Like him up in trip and gets in quite well after the claim.

5 Jaguary (Bet Now: $3.40) is a swimmer so if the track remains to have genuine give, he commands respect. He got those conditions last Saturday here and the end result was a booming win from near last to nail them on the line for a big win. Up in trip, confidence is high, he’s a winning threat.

2 Ritratto (Bet Now: $10.00) is suited to the Parks track if it plays like it did last Saturday, where fence in run/on speed was ideal. He ran in the RA Lee, thrown in the deep end, and was far from disgraced in defeat behind Belle Plaisir. That was his first run in several weeks. so there is room for improvement.

4 Cashin’ Chex (Bet Now: $5.00) is flying for Ashton Downing. Both runs back from a break have been super, both over 1200m. Narrow second to Mask Up fresh before bolting up a few weeks ago under a peach from Johnny Allen. He’ll love the rise to 1400m and has got good upside to come.

5 Sacred Armour (Bet Now: $2.50) is a key threat. He was 1100m to 1400m at Murray Bridge a fortnight back where he led and looked all over a winner when kicking hard under Tourneur but was nabbed late by Jaamint. Has that 1400m run under the belt, which should hold him in good stead.

9 Ambidazzle (Bet Now: $9.00) is a first four threat. Ran in the Autumn Final three weeks back and despite being outclassed, I thought she was far from disgraced in defeat behind Skilled Bunch. Good record here and I think a slight drop back in depth will see her run an improved race at odds.

1 Fighting McLaren (Bet Now: $3.80) is a Fighting Sun gelding for Ryan Balfour that resumes. He hasn’t raced since Feb 5 over 1250m here when producing an end of prep run, looking a tired horse when fourth to Lady Dunmore. Given a good break and he has trialled up nicely to get ready.

2 Secret War (Bet Now: $6.50) will jump on the bunny and give his all. He did that three weeks back on the course proper here and actually did a really good job to stick on as he did behind Extremely Lucky, who is destined for better races, so I think that form reads quite well for this.

10 Chosen Blonde (Bet Now: $3.40) saves her best for the Parks track so with that in mind, I am giving her respect. Three weeks between runs since racing over this trip on the course proper in a fast run race and tried hard, but bumped into a Group l talent I feel in Extremely Lucky. Back to a track she loves, stable in form, she’s hard to beat.

4 Fox D’Or (Bet Now: $5.00) on top in the get out. Ryan Balfour has this guy and he’s on the seven day back up after racing over this track/disatnce last Saturday and he was very good from near last in the run when third to Tubby Two Tracks. If he can use the gate to advantage, he’ll take beating.

2 Bolt By (Bet Now: $4.60) has come back in good order. Macdonald/Gluyas trained gelding that has had two runs back, both at Murray Bridge. He won impressively fresh before racing two weeks ago and was good from the back behind Jaamint. Hard fit and up to 1550m, he’ll take beating.

11 Another Free Glass (Bet Now: $34.00) might want one more, but he could pinch a first four spot at a big price. He just got too far back at Gawler last time and was never a factor behind Disagreeable Miss. 2000m is when he comes into his own, so doubt he wins, but he is one for wider multiples.

LONG SHOT: Race Five Number 2 Medieval Miss
