2 Street Legal (Bet Now: $2.80) is a query at 1250m but with his racing style, he’ll give himself every chance to see it out. He ran over 1000m here two weeks ago, landing just off speed and tried hard when second to Stand Alone. If he runs 1250m, he’ll take beating.

8 Grand Millesime (Bet Now: $9.50) was 1200m back to 1000m when racing here a fortnight back and while she was never a winning threat, she kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat. Like her back up in trip, will be strong late…she commands respect.

5 Amalfi Dreamer (Bet Now: $3.00) steps up to 1250m after debuting over 1050m on the course proper here, getting off speed and was good late in the piece. Like the rise in trip, can settle closer and will be effective late.

2 Intellectual (Bet Now: $2.10) is a Team Jolly trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Feb 21 over 1050m on the course proper when down the track behind Mathematician. Given a good break, looks to have trialled well and this is a race well within reach for him.

3 Stand Alone (Bet Now: $4.40) comes here off the back of a maiden win, which came over this track/distance two weeks ago when giving her rivals a start and a beating in a well deserved maiden triumph. Her confidence is up, she’s hard fit, she’s in the mix.

1 Up The Den (Bet Now: $7.00) is a handy animal for Michael Hickmott that resumes. His last run was Oct 18 over 1050m on the course proper when on speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when a narrow second to Mesrour. Trialled well, good racing style, he’s around the mark.

8 Holmes (Bet Now: $12.00) is worth an each way ticket. He ran over 1800m at Sandown last start where he got into a decent spot in transit just off speed but didn’t handle the bog surface. The rise in trip, firmer footing, I think he’ll run a beauty at odds.

2 Longer Route (Bet Now: $3.10) is knocking on the door. He attempted to lead throughout over 2000m at Mildura last start and gave a bold sight from the front but just felt the pinch late in the piece when second. Good racing style, he commands respect.

13 Back Me Up Benny (Bet Now: $31.00) comes back to 1950m after racing over 2000m last Wednesday at Murray Bridge. He was wide no cover for the trip and the hard run took its toil late in the piece. Better run in transit, he’s capable of a much improved performance.

5 Tahnee Territory (Bet Now: $9.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when off speed, very wide in the run, and tried hard, but just couldn’t quite finish the job when third to Silver Chaos. Firmer deck, racing well, she appeals against these.

9 Hell’s On Fire (Bet Now: $18.00) is a Michael Hickmott trained filly that comes to town off the back of a maiden win at Balaklava when leading throughout and she gave nothing else a look in. Looks as if she’ll land on speed again and take running down.

11 Trantoro (Bet Now: $15.00) was a forgive from two weeks back at this track/distance when doing early work to land on speed and that early burn just felt the pinch late. Think with a better run in transit, she’s dangerous against this lot.

7 Fast Tempo (Bet Now: $3.00) was an impressive winner over 1400m here two weeks ago, giving his rivals a start and a beating when letting down with purpose to score. His confidence is up, he can certainly go on with it.

1 Nicish (Bet Now: $11.00) is flying for Team Stokes and commands respect. She won over 1250m here four weeks ago, sitting off speed before being presented clear air and let down with purpose to win and win well. 1550m should be fine, she’s a leading contender.

9 Capulet (Bet Now: $41.00) should appreciate firmer footing after resuming two weeks back at this track/distance where she had the suck run in behind and tried hard but the testing ground and first up, condition gave out. Fitter, firmer surface, she’s an improver at a price.

9 Dausydoo (Bet Now: $5.00) should take beating after resuming at this track/distance two weeks ago, working home well from off speed when fourth to Real Deluxe. Fitter, can settle closer in the run, she’ll take holding out.

4 Zanthron (Bet Now: $6.50) ran a close up third to Zanthron a fortnight back. He was near the speed and there to win but just couldn’t quite get there when third, beaten around 2.5L. He’ll be around the mark and is consistent at this level.

3 Real Deluxe (Bet Now: $4.80) was big odds when a track/distance winner two weeks back, leading throughout and despite being out of petrol tickets late, she had enough in hand to score. Good racing style, she’ll look the winner for a long way.

10 Cielao (Bet Now: $6.00) steps up to 1400m after resuming over 1250m here two weeks ago where she was at a trip short of her best and on speed…just think condition gave way late in the piece. Fitter, rising to 1400m, hopefully a firmer deck, I think she can run a much improved race.

3 Snoopy Now (Bet Now: $4.60) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1700m at Caulfield. He was near the speed throughout and tried hard but on testing ground, tired late behind the very much in form First Chorus, who has franked the form since. Good racing style, back in trip, he’s dangerous.

8 Sought After (Bet Now: $5.00) comes through the Mildura Cup where he got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he was pretty good late behind Run Harry Run. If he’s within range, he’s going well enough to win.

4 Annihilate (Bet Now: $20.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance, getting off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort when fourth to Mellifluent. This isn’t a deep race, kind map, he takes beating.

3 Power Dancer (Bet Now: $14.00) was good in defeat over 1250m here two weeks ago, trying hard from near the speed but found one better in Breakfast. Takes on older horses now but a good racing style, hard fit and in form, he appeals.

9 Extra Hot (Bet Now: $11.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance, getting off speed and was good late in the piece behind Mellifluent when third. If she can get a drag into the race from the draw, she’s dangerous.

8 Steel Tsunami (Bet Now: $17.00) was game in defeat behind Richie D’Amour two back, leading and giving a decent sight from the front but just felt the pinch late, before racing at Murray Bridge again and had enough in hand to score. I think with a more patient steer, he can be more effective late and is dangerous.

2 Prevailed (Bet Now: $4.60) is a key chance for Team Kavanagh. He ran over 1200m at Sandown last time out and closed pretty well from off speed I thought behind Mahersala. The depth here is nowhere near as thin, he commands respect.

9 Thermodynamic (Bet Now: $12.00) is a Nicole Irwin trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since April 4 when a game fourth over 1900m in the Country Cup at Oakbank. Better suited over further but can sprint well fresh so watch betting.
